Amethyst Shards - how get?

how do i maximise the amount of amethyst shards?

I would like to know this as well. I've had streams up for 3 days now and only got one drop of 500.

i managed to get 5000 but no idea why, is it something to do with twitch?

yeah i usually open a window set it to 160p, mute it and leave on in background

Ok the ways i learned how to get this is 1: Do prologue without skipping cutscenes etc thats 500 shards. Add 50 friends get 1000 shards, enter a 3v3 pvp match get another 500 + 2000 extra if you win a match. And you get 1500 pr characther you lvl to 50 i heard.

I'm not already 50 so i didn't see the use of them but you guys recommand watching those useless stream to get some or we can farm them endgame or anything?

Where did you see this Potato? To answer Zogh I really don't know if that's how you get them but I'm thinking no. I've still gained *zero* since my post on the 14th and I've had streams open the entire time.

As for Potato the level 50 thing can't be right unless it excludes powerpass, because I have 3k Amethyst shards(been that amount since that last drop of 500 from...somewhere). I would have way more than 3k. Why is this so hard to find info on.

turns out you get them mostly from Achievements currently (Alt+O i think is the shortcut to bring up that list) and the ones potato listed all work. done them each myself.

if you ever see people typing "add me" over and over on Area Chat, this is why.

apparently you can get some through amazon prime but i dont know any more than that.

Yep I saw that people were finally posting videos on them and now I see why nobody knew, they were hidden achievements. Well that's one problem down lol. Although I assume there is more ways to get them we either don't know or will be in the future, cause as it is nobody can get the higher amethyst shard stuff like the wolf mount.

as far as i understood:

there's currently 6 achievements that lead to amethyst shards:
People Person - 1000
Beginner's Luck - 2000
Universal Troubleshooter - 500
First Step - 500
First Step, Light's Call - 500
We're All Buddies! - 500
(Total: 5000; check status with alt+o)

another 500 for amazon prime link

and there's twitch drops. which seems to be the only way to get regular shards, atm.

with all that i get a total of 6500, where the cheapest item is 6600.

i rly want that orka skin, mimimi..
