If you mean it's an MMO then yes, but no it's not like Tera online, you're probably focusing a too much on the art style.

I just saw the same floating islands from TERA in one of the screenshots of this game....

I'm merely asking a question, I didn't know people here were fighting. But as someone who just saw the game, this looks exactly like TERA... Just my opinion tbh...

Is it a rip off? No. It's a korean style MMORPG. All Korean MMO's are roughly the same is very basic game design.

Apart from that, this game is it's own game. It has its own style of gameplay. It combines what makes other mmorpg's great and emphasizes its own style. It also doesn't have cars as cash shop items which is always nice.

I would closely compare this game to other games of similar genre. Best picks go to Diablo 2, Diablo 3 and Path of Exile. All of those games are respectable in their own ways but it's better comparisons to make. Tera as a whole is pretty much the best and worst side of korean mmo's. Best gameplay, worst cash shop and content. Lost Ark IMO is best gameplay and best cash shop / content Ive seen in years.

Interesting. Is the PVP as good as World of Warcraft? Or is it lame like it was on TERA? More specific, world pvp and whatnot? Kinda bothers me that MMORPGS never went with the WoW route in terms of PVP.

The game is unique in its own way. But what it does do, is present itself in a really nice package and when people get invested, it often leaves them surprised at how much they enjoy the game.

Yeah my bad I just meant like with everyone here posting. Kinda hard to address things when everyone is screaming and pointing just because someone online has a different point of view... You'd think people would be mature enough to accept others opinions but hey, it's the internet I guess.

I've played TERA since beta and I'm surprised the character creation screen is an exact rip off of TERA.

It isnt a ripoff, its "typical korean" - thats just how they do things over there, AION had it too etc.

Never played AION but I just saw screenshots of the game, yeah the art is pretty similar.

Hopefully this game doesn't lock classes into one race or sex like they did with Elins/Elves/Castanic in TERA.
