As someone who likes MMO's and ARPG's, why do I hate Lost Ark? Am I missing something?

As a person who loves MMO's and loves ARPG's like Path of Exile, Last Epoch, and Diablo........why do I not like Lost Ark? Am I missing something?

It starts you off at level 10 with 6 skills already that all seem to do the same thing. I've tried both Paladin and Sorceress, both equally boring.

All the mobs die in 1 hit from any of my abilities, it doesn't matter what I use, and they don't drop a lot of loot.

There's an unnecessary amount of questing where it's just "go here, talk to him", "go there, talk to her", etc. And it holds your hand every step of the way like you're a 3 year old with the attention span of a 3 week old puppy.

In Path of Exile, Diablo 3, and Last Epoch, I like playing a summoner. Such option doesn't exist for me in Lost Ark.

In most MMO's (Elder Scrolls Online, New World, Bless Unleashed, Shaiya, Aika, etc.) I like playing a healer. Such an option doesn't really exist for me here either.

Am I missing something? Why do people like this godawful game?

When everyone says to skip the story as fast as possible, and get to the end-game, which is a series of dailies that you need to do on multiple characters to progress in any rational fashion, i have to wonder, what's the point? That's why I stopped. if the story and getting to the "real game" is not fun, why would i want to play the "real game" especially if it's just a daily grind?
