Using a gamepad ?
Hey

So i'm used to play Diablo on console with a controller and I really prefer to use a controller than a keyboard + mouse on H&S

Do lost ark can be played with a controller ?

thanks

yes my XBOX Elite Series 2 works wonders, there is even alot of options to change keybindings in the game but I like to have buttons on the belly of the controler and use those as modifiers for LB & LT.

Yep I used my XBOX Elite controller works great. I do use the keyboard/mouse for UI stuff like inventory an completing items. Thinking about picking up the controller keyboard and wireless mouse so I can try it out on the big screen.

This is good to hear. The game says "partial controller support" on the store page, so I never know what to expect with that. Thanks everyone!

I prefer to sit back with a gamepad when I can. But it's not practical for all games for sure

I am curious- I usually play these games on K&M but was wondering how combat feels on the controller?

It's almost like playing a BTA game. The move of the character feels more natural for me. Like Shadow's Tactic, I have a hard time playing it on PC after playing it on console ^^'

Yeah, i quit playing KB/M games. I only play controller supported games now, or games that I can easily make a steam config for.

i used gamepad for a bit. It works. It feels nice in some aspects but depending on you class it might be unusable. If you have a lot of aoe stuff you want to place in specific areas... gamepad becomes unusable

gamepad support is ok, it's definitely playable but there are a few things that make it not great. the virtual keyboard popping up all the time during various actions with no way to autoclose or disable completely is a huge problem for me. Also targeting is way less than ideal. would work much better with right stick aiming from character as well as being able to adjust sensitivity of ground target aiming.

If it's a card game or a board game...something that doesn't require fast movement or reaction, then I'll use KB/M. But overall I prefer gamepad

Gotcha. Playing Sorcerer mainly so will likely stay on keyboard. But I'll give it a try and see how it feels.
