The social aspects of LA is very poor. I mean, you won't have any time to waste on this kind of things when there are a lot of daily and weekly quests for your main and alts to do -- that's basically your routine :)

It doesn't have anything like Final Fantasy XIV or even Skyrim's marriage system, no. There is a Rapport system where you can establish bonds with select NPCs, but it's probably not quite in the same vein of what you're looking for.

Lost Ark is severely lacking in social and RP aspects, like HmmMinuto said. There is only one fixed camera angle to take photos, a rather limited emote system and other stuff like that.

FF14 will have more of that kind of stuff. It'd be cool if you could be a little more expressive with your character, but theres no MMO can do it all.

If people wish to RP they should probably join Second Life, these games aren't meant for RP not really, I once roleplayed a lot und I can not even imagine doing that on a game not meeting the requirements needed for such a thing, when I was playing WOW I had visited the RP servers und it was atrocious how bad the players were at it plus completely lacking the tools to RP correctly, I would never RP on a game because I did this for a very long time I expect the RP and the story to be good, that simply is not going to happen in Ark.

You get a whole island you can decorate and can man a pirate ship tho there is some rp potential.
