Returning player woes: Oreha Fusion Material

Not having played the game for two years, obviously I would have characters around the old 1430 ilvl mark (lower actually). The biggest issue I have seen is, while upgrading pieces does cost silver now, crafting the actual oreha fusion material requires spending GOLD, that cannot really be earned anymore, at least in any tangible amount, since Argos seems to be straight up dead right now.

There are solo raids, sure, but that isn't necessarily an easy proposition, not to mention the actual gold earning is lesser - as far as I am aware - than doing it via party. Not that you can get a party since it seems up to clown is also a deadzone via partyfinder, with Brelshaza seeming to be the basepoint now.

I have used the express pass, but that leaves me with one singular character who has any gold earning potential, which is also not necessarily an easy proposition, since, as a returning player, obviously I have not actually progged any of the content to actually earn the gold. Granted, I could buy a bus, as that seems to be a thing. Anyway, that leaves one singular character of mine to earn gold.

Might as well at this point just buy multiple powerpass. Buying gold would just be stupid an inefficient for leveling anything to 1520 manually. Perhaps I am doing something wrong, I would love to be told I was dumb and doing something wrong, in fact. But having to craft fusion materials which costs gold will only be a complete drain. There are quite a few free fusion material rewards to be found easily, but those fusion materials just do not include 1520-.

Yes, I am aware of una's tasks, as well. Currently working on the scraps I will earn from that.

Day 10 login (which I have to wait 4 more days for) does give oreha, but it is ONLY day 10, so what I presume is, you have to wait another month to get more bags. Outside of that, just about every other bag, contains superior oreha and prime oreha fusion materials.

The sad thing is, they shower you in quite a bit of everything else, if you so choose that, but BLUE, or regular oreha fusion materials, are lacking. Literally thousands of gold would have to be spent crafting via stronghold, and at an even worse rate off the marketboard, with limited capabilities of earning gold.

as posted indicates -- free from daily login at 75min -- various oreha. Need to stay login for 75min -- one of the reason the increase in Lost Ark numbers.
earns Unas gold about 5k+ per week if lucky rng of 10k gold bar and use the gold to craft oreha in stronghold(still cheaper than buying from auction house) assume you got materials from normal or stronghold trade skills. 6x way to craft various oreha in stronghold.

Like I said, the daily playtime 75 min is superior and prime oreha, NOT oreha fusion material (blue). The day 10 daily login, DOES give oreha (alongside the choice of superior and prime). The only way is from stronghold crafting (and like said, marketboard) which requires gold, outside of the once a month login, unfortunately, as far as I can tell. I can craft them, I am just lacking in the gold earning potentialI had two years ago, with all of my characters outside of the event powerpass one being at a level where it can plausibly earn some gold.

Outside of just buying powerpass, I would have to just eat the gold on any character not boosted. At least there is still Una, yes.

Blue oreha isn't discontinued, it's still used to hone 13xx gear. So let's not spread lies and misinformation.
And farm it on alts isn't an answer, because the alts have to get past the gold desert in the 13xx range.

The Super Mokoko Event gives them as honing rewards
The Mokoko event sells 1000 of them
Outside of that yeah you have to buy or craft them
Make gold by doing trade skills or get mats from trade skills and craft them with gold
The reason they cost so much right now is because of the lack of bots because of the new anti bot system preventing them from flooding the game with the new power pass.

For an old casual (from a casual of the first times which had never quit), I see maybe an alternative way to get 2-3 more characters to rejoin the game with a limited investment.

If you manage to follow the main quests from Punika with your old characters until completed Elgacia (or at least Placcia and pay gold to get a knowledge transfert from Pleccia to Elgacia), then ...the Powerpass costs only 860 Royal Crystals to get to Voldis and get a complete level 1520 gear.
That should get you back in the game for a price of a little bit more of a movie theater ticket ;-),

Yeah, I kind of figured I was going to have to do something like this, as it does seem to be the most efficient route. I still was wanting to do at least one character through those storylines, but my poor wallet.

It is just kind of nonsensical to me, how this is even a thing. It would feel like an oversight to me, if day 10, and the battlepass didn't actually have blue oreha fusion mats, so it seems a little deliberate.

I think the same,
this game is defenetely not a P2W (there is nothing to win) as a lot of people suggested but a greatly brainstormed P2Progress game , the only way to avoid it is to never completely quit the game to get the event progression each time (my way)...
But ...you canno't completely quit then,
Being always tempted by some new skin or Powerpass etc

They know exactly what they do ! ;-)

Shadow Fusion Material Selection Chest.

This chest randomly shows up in my inventory and have not been paying attention where its coming from.
I'm also getting a different chest but only lets you select Superior and Prime fusions. I seem to get a lot more of these and I assumed these are the ones that come from the express event.

I mean I login back two days ago and used the voldis pass on a new summoner.
Activated the mokoko event. Obviously Iam constantly lacking shards.
Had quite a few gifts saved so got some there.

Got really hit hard at +15 when you have to pay gold again. Already bought gold with the left over currency I still had. Spent a total of 40-50k gold to get to 1560 ish.

+3% base success is hardly a buff. Iam already getting annoyed again try to catch up.

Yeah, I mean, for already established players who play the game actively, the catchup events and everything are nice, however, the new/returning player experience can be pretty abysmal at a certain point. At least I got that one free powerpass to get one character entry level (now 1540).

That is false. You win the chance to carry plebs who were smarter then you to not spend money. Lol
