Solo play

I want to play as much of the game solo as possible, or even all of it if I can. Is this possible or will I have to ignore a lot of content and struggle with many other things?

you will be able to play the entire tutorial section alone and thats it, LA is a raid based game, it requires you playing with other people in order to progress, even in the story because you will need to upgrade your gear eventually

This is why I started this thread. Every source I read on this topic there's a different answer. Some say you can do nearly everything in the game, some say you can't. Not sure why a clear answer is so difficult. Thanks for the reply though.

nearly everything is a strech, this is my main game and you will spend the majority of time grouping up and doing group content, if you look for lost ark you will only see people talking about what ? raids and guardian raids, you have just a tiny bit of soloable content but the meat is doing raids, if you are someone really anxious that have really bad raid anxiety i wouldnt play this game, look on youtube for lost ark raids and these are pretty on the harder side compared with other mmos

From what I've read you need to do raids to progress the story, but many people say you can even do those solo if you have the right build. While others say you can't.

Who knows, I guess I'll just have to try things out for myself. Thanks again for the insight.

thats not true at all, i have around 3k hours in this game and its impossible to even enter into a raid without full team, unless you want to do guardian raid...but at some point you want to have a team to ease things a tiny bit

Did the content used to be easier? Maybe the info I read is just out of date.

i think there was a miscommunication. not all the dungeons have the same player restrictions.
regular continent dungeons can be done solo or 1-4man but prefered 1man unless u have friends
chaos dungeons can also be done 1-4man but prefered 1man
guardian raids are also 1-4man, completely doable solo if you know what the boss does
cubes dungeons 1-4man, early cubes can solo but it gets damage spongey real quick after.
legion raids and abyss dungeons/raids, are all 4-8man groups, i recommend joining a guild.

no real info on when solo content will be released, so in my honest opinion i think it's better to get to know the legion raids and then leave at a certain point.
