lmao he plays average 14hr a day, which mean except sleeping, he may be playing while sh!tting
It's amusing tho that's always the go to attack, oh look at how many hours they have in this game what a loser, and yet ironically a lot of the people that troll this game have their Lost ark activity hidden along with other games where I bet if you checked they're in those steam forums trolling too probably also on Reddit and on discord.
Also fomo has nothing to do with playtime or playing a game you don't know what fomo means do you
imagine you are leaving the game running 24/7 so you can buy things in it through your phone or doing life skill activities because you are afraid of missing out.
the literal definition of FOMO.
Yet these people are arguing its not FOMO.
0 self awareness
story of the LA players i guess
Running a game 24/7 just to do chores is the defintiion of FOMO.
Else you wouldnt do that.
Why would i keep running a game when i am at work or something else?
The game takes over your poor soul.
Sunk Cost Fallacy
friendly reminder that even a game like diablo 4 started off steam.. and all the people which jumped in early on, which is well over 10 million copies sold are stuck playing off steam
and by far not everyone who jumps in now jumps in through steam.
even if WoW comes to steam eventually it would VERY likely not go above 20-30k concurrent players as the vast majority of people already have their accounts and characters in that game
just thought i need to get that reminder out again for the more uneducated people among us
This could be very interesting and very good.
Like if we really want to define and find out if LA is the worst MMORPG, we could really get to the bottom of that. I mean this is worth a try.
Btw. I just recently watch an update stream of Diablo4 and they fixed a lot of stuffs that gamers complained about. Imagine that, Blizzard fixes and improves a game based on player feedback and actually does a good job? So one thing is certain, Diablo4 is the better mmorpg than LA. 100%.
So what else is there we can compare it with? Or should not compare it with anything else and just measure it by its own mechanics and gameplay?
Ok let's get it on...I will edit this list:
What psychological Dark Patterns do we find in LA?
-Invested/Endowed Value - check
Having already spent time and money to improve your status in the game, it's difficult to throw it away.

But let me guess you would go by the 1k~ on steam.
oh they definitely would!
the info you provided is too much for them to comprehend.. or reality seems too scary to them, so hiding behind steam numbers only is more comfortable for them
Quite hard to tell with these people sometimes which one it is
