You recognize them when they start arguing that LA is actually not p2w but p2c.
The reason i asked in case you check back, if you quit 6 months ago you are probably at kay angel 1540, and most likely used the soul eater pass?
The soul eater pass on the character, doubled the amount of artisan received, effectively meaning you are guaranteed to always hit the minimum honing amount. what was usually 50% artisan is now 100% , if you used books or any other material this is increased again.
most people using the soul eater boost hit artisan on all their pieces, but hitting artisan just meant hitting the average.
if you didnt use the pass that you are indeed extremely unlucky!
i had the pass active, my point wasnt how fast or slow you reach pity its the fact that plenty aspects of the game are so rng based with so low chances it sucks the fun out of it, and when i get some good luck i get the feeling of relief not fun.
The insane low player base should ring alarms but no one cares i guess.. almost everyone quit and im pretty sure most people who actually give it another try just quit again.
this game is balls deep p2w and whoever thinks its not ... is on some heavy copium
thats fair enough if thats how you feel but thats not how the topic reads from the post, was just letting you know that pity is to be expected with pass, as you probably were not aware of the pity change with the pass.
reaching 1580 is a tough push, with pass active it is much easier as it reduces everything needed so f2p it is very achievable, they need to nerf honing to 1580 in general, but from the sounds of it, its not your type of game, if you hate the rng systems more than you enjoy the raids probably not worth your time and its probably the reason you quit the first time.
-I actually used the event express + the souleater express + the event books and got my second char to 1580 super easily. The only part that was tough was that I was short on Shards. =[
