Hello, I have a problem starting the game. Steam tells me that the game is running, but I can't see the image. The game is probably running in the background. So I am asking for advice on how to fix this problem so that I can play this game. Thank you very much

You need to open Task Manager and stop the Lost Ark process manually. Close Steam and check on Task Manager if all Steam processes are closed. Open Steam and try to run game again to see if that fixed the problem. If not, then do a file integrity check for Lost Ark before playing.

It's been a few days since I've been able to play anymore, I'm having the same problem as you.

It's been a few days since I've been able to play anymore, I'm having the same problem as you.

And did you find any solution? Because I really don't know what to do anymore to make the game work. You tried to wait like 30 minutes to see if it would start as it should, but that didn't help either

I couldn't find any solution, I can't play, I downloaded the game on my laptop and I can't play either

What about your Firewall, is it blocking Lost Ark to access the Internet? Check your Firewall's outgoing processes and make sure they are allowed to access the Internet. If they are blocked or denied access, game won't work and may cause the background running problem.

Also, you can try closing all other applications in the background and disable Antivirus/Firewall temporarily to see if that fixes the problem, but do this as a last resort.

So I tried everything and still nothing. It's still running in the background. I really don't know what to do anymore and I probably won't play this game. Anyway, if you think of anything else, I'd be happy for more advice.

It's better if you take it to Lost Ark Support, contact them. They should be able to help and may require a log file from your game to pinpoint the problem. I'm out of options as those are the only things I check if the game doesn't work for me.

Hi guys. If this issue is still there, in my case nothing what I could find in the Internet helped me. So I tried my options. And what is helping me to launch Lost Arc is the first to launch Dota 2. While Dota 2 is still open I launch Lost Arc, approximately in 1-2 minutes the game is launching. I also open Task Manager to track the memory loaded on Lost Arc, at the beginning it is around 200 MB, when I see that it is rising beyond 500 MB I can close Dota 2. In your case, if you don't play Dota 2 I think you can open any other game. I hope this solution will work for you too. Thank you.

the launcher takes a LOOOOOOONG time to start up, specially the first time.
if you dont see anything after around... 45 seconds or so then you may have a problem.

I have the same issue and tried above steps as well. I also verified integrity of the game and deinstalled and reinstalled fully.
The game always activates the cheat engine picture, then it is done, then nothing happened. And yes, I waited up to 10-15 minutes, nothing loads.
But the game is active in steam ("can only click stop") and in the task manager it is displayed.

Does anyone has any more ideas?

The one with Dota cannot be tested by me, as I dont have that game, but I tried with other games and it doesnt help.

Fix 6: Remove phsyx updater

This one fixed my issue. I got an AMD graphics card. When i launched Lost Ark, it was loading in the Easy Anti Cheat screen and the screen disappeared. The game never launched tho, i closed the game through Steam by pressing the X (Cancel) button. After that i got an error message which said ''Untrusted system file: C:\Program Files (x86)\NVIDIA\Corporation\PhysX\Common\physxupdateloader64.dll''. Deleting the physxupdateloader64.dll really fixed the game and was finally be able to play.
