in other games you can just buy gear which is already enhanced. but of course that would require a completely different game design.
You wont even be done after 50k hours as a f2p in LA, because they constantly shift the maximum power.
In addition the timegating is what creates the biggest problem there, because if someone needs 1 tap to succeed and you need 10.. you cant just make up for the indifference by grinding for some more hours.
The game is just like "F*** you, wait until you are not timegated anymore even though you didnt achieve your goal yet"
A problem only money can solve, which is their intention.
Some defenders will say "patience" solves it, but after thousands of hours of playing and grinding the game we are still supposed to be "patient"?
After this amount of time put into the game one is supposed to be on top of the food chain, even as a f2p. This game is absurd.
It is good that your friends are quitting, let this game die. maybe they will finally change it up then.
-50k hours, lol, cmon man.
You know it is true. LA is a endless hamster wheel with soft resets and eventually hard resets.
other korean games dont really have those nearly as much. it is not comparable.
And a game like FF14 is not nearly as grindy, so nobody cares about "losing" their gear.
The only reason people defend this game in this aspect is because its timegated. "oh i cant grind anymore on 1 char after a bit, it is not that grindy"
when in reality they wont even be done grinding after 50k hours, unless the game changes.
Which it seemingly does, at least least a little bit, when you look at the recent LoA. but we still have no clue where the game is going.
But it seems like they are willing to experiment a little bit now.
going above +21 is generally whalebait
You should be very prepared if you go above 21/22 that you are most likely going to pity everytime... just because you found one person who didn't and got super lucky , does not mean you should hate the player or the game. be happy for them!
do i agree wtih the amount it costs to pity items for that lvl, nope! But it is intended for whales after all!
what exactly did your friends expect when they were pushing for +25?
-I guess if you are including getting the yearning soul and the 4 sea maps from ocean coop, then you possibly could go 50,000 hours and not get it.
-Can you define what the 50,000 hours are for? Every collectible? Just endgame content? 100 quality on every gear? Etcetera. That will make it more clear if you're trolling or not. If you're talking 1600 item level, with no skill points, etc. That's less than 100 hours. If you're talking about noob that knows 0 about the game, then 1600 might take him 1000 hours sure.
-PS you never responded to my reply in the other thread, any reason?
