Returning player jump start server

Hey i quit like a year ago but i'll try the game again now on the new server.

I'm just wondering, is there any point in doing horizontal stuff all over again? Also what about roster exp, is it going to be added on top of what i already had when the merge happens?

Edit: i just realized progress is completely reset on different servers, so does this mean returning players like me are just forced to genuinely do everything all over again?

I was expecting something decent for returning players, as it stands if ppl like me are forced to do those tedious things all over again, i see many just uninstalling again.

You should get south vern power pass so you can skip a great bunch of story, you get increased roster lvl exp gain until 100, but ye all horizontal stuff from 0.
They should have implemented easier progression of that and most of the useful runes they should not be locked anymore behind horizontal

Absolutely, i'll be honest i don't think i'm doing any horizontal stuff again, especially the painful ones, hopefully the gatekeeping doesn't begin too early..

Jumpstart Server in Europe Central Full WTF.

Characters on Jump-Start Servers will have increased XP gains (200%)
Roster Level XP up to Lv. 100
Character Level XP up to Lv. 60
Stronghold Level XP up to Lv. 60
Trade Skill Level XP up to Lv. 60

You skip all the story quests & start at the end game at level 1415, with one extra powerpass. There's also buffs for new players that increases dmg and decreases dmg taken (aka easier content). What else do you want?
I'm genuinely asking bc if you don't want to do the 'chores' this is not the game for you. If you have already made a good progress on another server, stay there. Not trying to be rude since I'm somewhat returning as well but I feel like this is a pretty fair set up given the game's nature.

what people forgot to tell you, if you use your power pass to south vern, not only you will have your relic gear you will also receive all blue and green runes, the rest of the runes you will still need to find by yourself doing chaos dungeons, guardians and raids in general as well as some horizontal content like world bosses
