about the painting artist

why does everyone have a hard on for playing this class? now its hard to find people for damage dealer, is there this many people playing this game who are a little kid trapped in the body of an old man so they play a painting artist?

I mean its a new class. Every new class sees a huge influx of that class for a bit of time before it dies down. Since Artist is a support, its a huge influx of supports for parties vs when a dps comes out since its only 1/4 supports for a group vs 3/4ths for dps. Just give it some time. I mean for those support players that have DPS alts, this is the perfect time to get those alts into groups since a lot of groups are taking just bodies to fill out.

That and a lot of people are actually pervs too. I mean look how many complained about censorship from changing her from easy panty views to shorts/pants.

in addition to that, there's also the event for boosting characters to 1445 which also an incentives for people to play a new class. Also of all the classes so far, 3 are support, and 19 are dps. So yea, the need for supports are long overdue.

Number of supports matters little. There could of been 19 supports and 19 dps classes and there would still be a GENERAL support shortage. Its more the mindset of most players is they want to play the "leading" role and dps and dont find playign support fun. This is WHY in pretty much every game that uses the archtypes of tank/healer/dps, there is always a shortage of tanks/healers and an overabundence of dps.

The number of support classes has nothing really to do with the total number of supports.

I'm having quite a blast and a very fun time playing her, frankly speaking. I'm shielding a whole team, i'm healing a whole team, protecting and enhancing my teammates atk and hp all in a single skill. I'm having fun. Something some people are forgetting to have.
