"Region is closed and cannot be selected" for all regions

I can't get into any region; it seems to be defaulting me to South America but if I click any of the other regions (my chars are on NA East), it gives the "Region is closed and cannot be selected error".

I've tried verifying integrity and tried changing the UserOption.xml file as suggested on the forums.

Anyone know of a fix or am I screwed?

maybe uninstalling and reinstalling game might work worth a try maybe

I just figured out the problem! I was running NordVPN the whole time but apparently, Lost Ark doesn't like it when you're connected to a VPN.

I only figured this out because I went to the support page and their help page for this specific issue asks your ISP, Server and IP Address. That made me realise it's probably an issue with the game not liking VPN services.
