Path of Exile has Australian servers, and their player base is a fraction of Lost Ark's.
They don't care, definitely.
I likely would have spent $1000's in the game store too if it was worth staying but sadly its not.
what you saying is true, but in this business they wont risk it. i mean look at it now? players slowly away from this game. even better look at server stat of new world, and see oceanic server. if they want to, ofc they can. but they doesnt wanna take the risk.
would you come back and play from 0 if they deploy oce server? that is the question
Bro first of POE had 100k+ peak players at the start of Crucible league, since this league sucks + D4 people dropped it until next league and GGG is a NZ based company so make sense to have servers in their home country so at least they can play the game with low ping lol.
Also LA don't need OCE servers as you can see what end up happening to SA and EU central servers, OCE literally have no player base for LA anymore.
Well first, its free; Second, OCE population is less than the state of California for comparison so you'd likely be playing in a ghost town anyway.
If they offered a free region transfer I sure would, OCE servers should have been there from day 1, we pay the same so should have the same service otherwise the game should never have been offered here
Yeah Yeah, I want local Aussie servers for me to play on so I don't just have to accept higher pings in so many games.
Sirus is right though. I think we don't realise how few people we have in Aus sometimes. We live on a huge island but we don't really have many people here.
Sometimes its a Blessing though, I cant imagine living within pi$$ing distance of other people I'd hate it, that and traffic where I live isnt too bad, my work is almost 100km away yet I can drive there in around 50 min to an hour.
downside is due to our low pop our cost of living is horrendous which pushes our wages up which in turn makes our country non-viable for many industries to thrive
Game is free brother
