Probably bots have stoped playing. It was like 95% of all players.

Everyone quit because everyone realized its an absurd p2w grindfest in which u get gatekept all the time and just grind through the checklist the game presents to you without any freedom

A lot of streamer hype tbh
It was fun playing a new game so that's why it was so popular at the start and just everyone learning everything.
Lost Ark is a lot like any diablo game where you just do the same thing over and over again so getting to endgame its mostly just that so a lot of people are just turned off by it over time.
And to talk about the streamer hype it really helped bring people in since a lot of big names played it, but with any streamer they move on and so does the people who watched them.
Another game that has just recently gotten that same streamer hype is BDO and with it being a mobile p2w game that had no to any players even on its own launcher it has had a come up in its playerbase.
Games come and go tbh and a lot don't make it out its first month of being release.
Another game that had a lot of hype from big named streamers was d4 and yet those same ones are calling it dead just in its first season. Just never know how a game will turn out and that's just how it be yknow.

AGS censoring the game like crazy
It is due to flawed design of the game in the first place. RU, and JP region are dying already for the same reason. in KR, LA somehow managed to catch people's sentiment for the moment but it was only possible as more than half of players in KR are usually fans of gold river. Other than them, players who have at least an ounce of reason already quit the game. We are seeing natural results in NA/EU here.

You are wrong. Nobody plays this game. There are 30k bot right now from 500k year ago.

Amazon has, shall we say, a reverse Midas touch when it comes to games. Everything they touch turns to ♥♥♥♥.
it was a mobile p2w cash crab from the beginning. na never had over 500k players, most of them were bots. even a lot of the white knights have come to reality with this. it only took them almost 2 years but never later then never right?

yeah pretty much this.

some games however stay alive, they're on the brink of death or what it might seem like for a normal player but they can go years with just few thousand people, some can survive even with few hundred. its never truly dead when its still playable.

People downloaded it because it's free, they tried it and realized the game sucks, then they uninstalled it from their PC.

People love to troll everything after they "wasted" 3000+ hours on it, weird people.

From a game developer's standpoint, the promise of a pay-to-win game that could potentially rake in millions in profits was certainly intriguing. However, as a fan of the genre, while initially promising, the game's heavy grind and pay-to-win mechanics have made it one of the most exploitative titles out there. Some argue it's even worse than Diablo Immortal.

From a general gamer's perspective, it seemed like just another Korean pay-to-win game. The hype surrounding it was perplexing, possibly a result of Blizzard's disappointment in not producing a successor to Diablo, and the subsequent debacle with Diablo Immortal.

From the perspective of a gaming expert, despite impressive boss mechanics, it's still a poorly designed pay-to-win game. Regrettably, unique boss encounters alone cannot rescue a game from mediocrity.
The rest of the game offers little consolation, with dated graphics, terrible game mechanics, and a gameplay designed more to frustrate than to engage, pushing players towards making in-app purchases.

You don't need to play "3000+" hours to "troll". Besides it is criticism rather than troll even though you won't admit it.

I mean sure there were a lot of bots, but it's also a F2P game.
So it's not hard to believe it did indeed have A LOT of players.

I mean massive drop offs always happen.
Elden Ring had like 1 million players at it's peak and is now down to 40k.
Singleplayer game I know but still ( online game too ).
