I'm new to the game what am I supposed to do?

I read reviews that the campaign is the worst part of the game and the game doesn't truly start until you finish it.. But is there any way to skip it or get passed it as soon as possible? I want to get into running dungeons and meeting other people, but right now I feel like I'm playing a long single player campaign.

Either play through the story or pay money (which you might not be able to yet because this is your first character, Im not sure).

I will worn you though, aside from some horizontal stuff to get needed items like skill point pots, runes, etc, the end game consists entirely of raiding. I would suggest finding a new player friendly guild or a group to raid with because raids are heavily gate kept. The game also isnt very sociable so if you are into community stuff, you wont find much here

if your account has trusted status you get a power pass when you first login on a character and you can use that to skip the campaign

Why do you want to skip the campaign? The campaign is basically intended to familiarize yourself with the world, npcs, your character and so on. Also you're getting quite a few important items/currencies along the way.

If you don't want to start swiping your credit card early then I'd suggest to take what you can get from the campaign. In addition as mentioned before the endgame basically consists of either grinding materials to upgrade your stuff to unlock more difficult content to upgrade your stuff further and so on or just swiping your credit card to get gold and materials to upgrade your stuff. Also there is a lot of gate keeping going on. So if you don't have friends in LA you better be prepared for a lot of frustration....

i dont care about the campaign in lost ark and i think the raids in endgame are the most fun part of the game.. but i advise you to just play it as long as its fun to you

when u arrive at endgame ( if you make it that far) and u are like "what are these kind of bs systems" then i advise you to take a look at steamcharts and see how fast the game is dying out.. and ask yourself if you really wanna bother with so much bs on a sinking ship

Play the campaign at item level, don't use powerpass. That's fun. Try Argos, see if you are gatekept. And if you can, try Valtan.


That's it. Don't try to go further. Valtan is as fun as this game will get.

Playing those story dungeons at item level with friends, that seems like a distant memory now.

HELL NO... i would stay away from EVERYTHING that Activision/Blizzard does.

Also idiot Devs are trolling the player base in Diablo 4 by locking everything the new story and even the damned season pass progression into a Hard reset.
You Virtualy won't get ANYTHING if you not start 100% over every season.

Not even Poe does that lol.

I would rather play Lost Ark then D4 anyday.
