I quit this trash should I return now?

Gave up after realizing it would take me years to go from 1375 to 1445 so quit at 1380

I did the match and watched a lot of youtube videos that showed the honing process and failure rate.

At minimum it would take 1 year to level a character even then you are forced to play a vomit inducing experience of dalies mobile trash events to get some useless mats that will never be enough to even increase your honing to 1414 let alone 1445

I have 2 Paladin, 1 Bard, 1 Gun Slinger, 1 Death Blade all stuck at 1380

I have since moved onto Diablo 2 Resurrected.

But thinking of coming back and doing just the vomit inducing boring daily once a week and weekly once a week just for the gold.

Save up and after 5 or 8 years I should have enough mats to go to 1445.

Not willing to play those vomit inducing daily every day at all. I already have a job so don't plan on a second Job I would be better off playing Diablo 2 Resurrected or POE for fun

Well it took 1 year for players to go from 0 to 1520-1540+ and that was without all the catch up mechanics they have now.
When we started T1 and T2 honing chance would drop to 10-20% chance
So I seriously doubt it would take very long to go from 1414 to 1445. To drive the point even further everyone is getting a free 1445 character real soon for the 2nd time.

To answer your question, no, I don't think you should return.
At 1380 you have yet to see any real raids. You seem easily irritated and I have a feeling Lost Ark Legion Raids are going to chew you up.

Maybe try Diablo 3 or Classic WoW.

Somehow I am not getting the excitement to return to the Pay to Win grind of the vomit inducing chaos dungeons. It doesn't feel like a video game it somehow feels like a second job, just not fun like Diablo 2 or POE or Last Epoch or pretty much any real video game.

The idea of running these nasty chaos and guardian everyday on multiple characters for a 10% chance honing success. Which would mean it takes a year to do one character just to have fun

I dunno man it takes 1 month of POE to do pretty much any end game for every season.

It just feels like Lost Ark was designed around Pay to WIn mobile trash ooh wait.

Wait for Diablo 4 unless you just want to play free games, but know this game is extreme pay to win to achieve anything at a reasonable time frame.

Time, the most precious thing a human on planet Earth can ask for. Some people around here clearly value this more then others. What do you win in Lost Ark after 4k hours?

I don't get the argument that skipping time in a game is p2w, I mean there's many popular games that were praised that offers level boosts and job boosts like WoW, FFXIV, even Assassin's Creed a single player game has time saving boosts and map revealers.. Lost Ark has things that cut time down yes but they aren't needed at all.

If you don't like the game, move onto something else.. it sounds like you really dislike the daily things and other bits in this game, you don't have to run those everyday.. just run them on rested.

The hardest content in this game which is "Inferno Raids" is equalized meaning paying gets you nothing, pvp is equalized, and you can get stronghold reducing time chips for free on a daily basis just by playing the game, I think I have over 250 time-reduce chips on my inventory and I hardly use them and all were earned for free.

It's pretty easy to spot the real players from the fake ones, nothing in this game will take you years to make progress, and there's an upcoming pass next week that will offer Story Express, Hyper Express, Powerpass, plus 4x3 engravings all for free.. and there's a hyper express boost straight to 1445 ilvl..

This game is an MMO and all of them take time to progress..

i did a combination of both, had fun while it lasted, then quit when it became too much of a chore and the things i spent $$ on was getting devalued too quickly by bots.

was fun while it lasted, no regrets. moving on

Yes i noticed a few white knights around here with 4k hours. They get offensive and try mass reporting you if you say anything negative about the game. Then they wonder why the game always has more bots then new players joining. I wanna play this game but the community is so toxic and mean if you pick the wrong class.

We don't care if you say negative things about the game, it's the misinformation and the lies that bother most of us.. if you are going to critique a game on it's negatives then by all means do so..

This forum has been hit hard with trolls and people who don't even play the game, and most of us who play the game try to help others and the people who are joining the game... you can clearly tell who the real players are just by observing.

Whats about the charakter slots, did people get any for free ? I also have quit this game long time ago because of this ♥♥♥♥♥♥ rates and the dumb abyss dungeon mechanics. I am just wondering if we got some character slots to come back and try the other classes. Was out of charakter slots.
