How to get my first gold ?

I have recently unlocked market so I want to get my first gold to be able to sell the ressources I have (because of the tax)

what itemlevel are you?

you can do weekly content to get gold.. like abyssal dungeons, abyss raid, legion raids

probably swiping (credit card to buy gold in the in-game shop). the dev's incompetent decision to curb bots by removing any gold-making mechanics that were available at the launch of the game which not only didn't stop the bots, but make it harder for new players to progress. the only safe way to get gold consistently is through UNA's while you're at low level. but you'd have to progress the story to unlock that first. and with UNA's you can only get it weekly.

gather some resources and sell it for 1 gold. There is no tax so long as you sell it for 1 gold and the resource should sell right away at that low a price. Then with 1 gold you can sell the next resource at prices up to 20 gold. Once you have between 10 - 20 gold, you should be able to sell up to 200 gold and so on. This way you do not need to wait until you get to North Vern to use the marketplace. That is how I got started in the market trading.

If u reach lvl50 u can do una quests, get una tokens and go to the gold merchant to exchange them for chests of gold.

You could life-skill for materials and sell those also, but the best way is weekly legion raids.

There should be something right after Vern main story quest that gives you a bit gold.

If you can't wait for that, ask other players to mail you a bit of gold. It may require both of you to be verified. It does require the sender to be verified.

The little gold you can get from selling trade materials right now, isn't really worth much anything. You can get plenty of gold once you do Vern.

Guys He can't. There's always the deposit. He doesn't have that 1g for any deposit to sell anything. They removed literally all early source of gold, which is like why. Wny not leave players with at least 5g reward when they reach level 30 which unlocks the AH market.

No, one-gold-sale is the only transaction where there is no transaction fee so that you can actually make some money selling (or else the fee would negate the gold earned). This is why selling for 2 gold is pointless since selling for 2 gold, you only get 1 gold since it costs 1 gold for the transaction fee. It is a inefficient sale since one probably can sell for higher but it earns the all important 1st gold so that one can then sell the next sale for up to 20 gold using the single gold piece as the transaction fee. After this, one has enough gold to start their gold accumulation using trading. It is what got me the over 139k gold I have considering I just got to N Vern to use other options. And that is after I have bought about 100k gold of skins and of course materials to flip.

Edit: It does take time to earn decent gold weekly using this method since one needs to use gold to invest in items from the marketplace and use the price fluctuation to make gold. However, it was the only way I was able to find to earn gold before reaching lvl 50 or getting to Vern. These days this makes me about 5000 - 10000 gold pieces per week, even after using gold to purchase more items.
