5 engraving too expensive

How I suppose to afford this if I dont play 24 hour a day like this sweaty kids

There are just some classes who have extremely expensive class engraving accessories.
Sorceress is one of them.

No need to aim for 5x3 if you cann't afford it.
4x3 is still good.

Also it has to do with engraving/stat combinations you choose to search up.
Best advice I can give you is "shop smart".
I search up every possible combination of what's on the market for my build, and piece together what gives me what I want at the lowest cost before I make a single purchase.

that being said..you dont need 5x3 for anything i think. i mean i can only speak for valtan and vykas, u dont need it there.. and i dont believe u need it for clown either.. clown looks the hardest though.. but for me that just means its gonna be really hard with randoms.
i play all day and i still dont consider going for 5x3 right now.. its too expensive. with that amount of money i can get all my alts to 1415 first, and get the rest of them to 1430 and get my main to 1490 first..and then i will consider going for 5x3 only

4x3 is good enough for all content in the game even Kakul

5x3 is NOT required for any content in the game. 4x3 can clear everything perfectly fine (hell theres be vids of 2x3's able to clear the content AT ilvl since theres OTHER forms of damage increase other then engravings). Make your own groups or find a static of other 4x3'ers.

I like how you want to defend this game but you clearly cannot. OP is right. everything is over priced.

Overpriced, maybe but required, no. In fact you get MORE power from upgrading your gems and tripods then getting a 5th engraving.

But everyone always goes "5x3's required man, you can't clear anything unless your 5x3" and they keep promoting that when its been widely shown that 5x3 is not only NOT required, MORE dps comes from boosting all aspects of your character instead of JUST engravings due to diminishing returns.

Yeah no ♥♥♥♥ you can do it in a 4x3 party with people who already cleared it before. That's because you join Reclear parties. People who haven't cleared it yet can't join them so we are stuck in 4X3 parties where the raid is much harder with people who haven't cleared it yet because not enough damage to skip phases.

Go join prog party with 4x3 and tell me how long it will take you clear it I dare you.

4x3 is pretty cheap to gear these days even with the pheon cost included. And the 1x3 is just there proving that 5x3 isn't required for any groups. 5x3 is an artificial number come up by essentially bad players.

And honestly with 1415 being SO EASY to get to these days, dont bother buying items off the AH until your 1415. Get to 1370, take an argo's bus and you'll pretty much have your 15 of class engraving from that, use 2 9x engraving books which are dirt cheap and find at least a stone with 1 of the stats and get a 6 in it. Plenty of people already dont care at the yoho level anymore. At 1415 you can gear your character and not have to worry about gearing it again until 1490/1520.
