Why is the PvP so dead?

Do people actually play the trashy PvE on this game more than the PvP? How is it even fun to play the same dungeon 6 times to maybe get an upgrade.

i do pvp, and get tittle by push to extreme, for ranked, i dont know, for normal match team death match matching around 1-2min for first time find match, and 2nd matching less than that, if u change char, that will reapeat, 1-2 min first time find match and 2nd further less

So all the replies are people sadly sucked into the absolutely ♥♥♥♥ PvE this game has. If you want a good Isometric PvE go play Path of Exile, Last Epoch, ANY Diablo because, this PvE sucks terribly. The loot and equipment system has to be the absolute worst and I played BDO for years.

Turns out this game is for old people that don't have enough time to play properly so they spend money on it for PvE.

Guess I'll find a better game or just go to the KR server. Western MMORPG players are way too casual and don't seem to understand that this games PvE is the probably that peak epitome of greed and by far the worst end-game experience I have ever had.

Like I said the only good thing this game has is PvP with no connection issues and no input delay. Sucks most of the Western playerbase would rather mindlessly run the lame endgame dungeons.

I have 5 level 50 characters and my highest Item level is 600. I have done everything I could up to this point and I have not had fun at all in the PvE.

Oh well. Another failed game due to greed and dumb consumers.

i do both PVP and PVE and horizontal content with 2800+hrs here
i play MMORPG since 2008 some big tiitle like BNS BDO that have PVE + PVP content

so, is this fun? yes why not? tho its repeatable content? yes ofcourse,
isnt every MMORPG like that?
do u even know that i get pvp tier extreme with 200+ ish ping
and do u know i play raid with that ping sometimes fail dodge bcz rubber (dogde but go to starting point)
is that still fun? yes ofcourse

i dont blame you for not having time to playing like 5 or even less 2h maybe a day,
but if u say this game fail when u still at 600 ilvl then i think u wrong too,

this game latest raid req ilvl already at 1475, and lowest is 1325, that is tier 3 gear, and u still at tier 1, so u havent experienced raid content yet, so dont judge that what u dont eperieced yet,
and again this game selling point is RAID, for ARPG free 2 play, even free player can win and catch up both vertical or horizontal, even for dress up skin costume f2p still can buy using in game curency, so why not?

actualy the answer is simple for your question, u like it u play it, u tired of it then just leave it, ez

but if u trying for like it i willing to help u guide proggres your ilvl, for free

Love your reply but, the PvE is terrible. There's no substance to hitting a mob and not getting any loot. There's no point in killing hundreds of mobs if they are useless filler content for their horribly monetised equipment system.

The reason I enjoy MMORPG's PvE is the loot system they used to have in older games where you could get lucky extremely rare drops that people would want to buy or be jealous about. Nowadays its all based on how much money they can get off one single piece of equipment and not valuing players time.

Sorry the game has good combat for PvP but, everything the PvE does is just a slap in the face to the consumer.

this i belive u will get when u get into legion raid, when u get acc drop that worh of $$$ in real life, so basicly t1 just introduction to game, t2 like more deeper experience, t3 when u start everything,

but for now t1 and t2 abyssal dungeon (mini raid with mini mechanic) no one play there, so experience or feel that beta or early player have, new player cant have it, so want or not, for fully experience what raid is u need go t3

if u just focus on 1 char i belive a week or 2 u can go t3 i think, many event, many reward, mokoko buff if u new, so many buff to get t3 instant, and again there express event and t3 instant powerpass if u get 1 char to t3, so basicly get 2 char t3

edit:
tho im saying u get special drop trough raid, but daily chaos or guardian raid at 1415 can get u that too, but feeling get drop from raid bos that need u to clear it for around 30min to 2h or more, depend on party (8 player), is more rewarding

One of the changes they made around the Western release basically killed the PvP. Some people played for a while, but most high-level players stopped playing (seriously) after they saw it isn't going to get fixed.

any experienced player who reads this will laugh at you, you are still in the absolute early game, what a joke
you are not even running raids and dungeons yet, even with double your itemlevel you are not running real dungeons and raids yet
but have fun in whatever you do next

yea its not good game deisgn, but it is what it is
if you dont care about a good endgame and you care about the journey more, then this is no game for you

Proving grounds matchmaking in pvp is bad , but its pretty ok to play once you get the hang on it.
Island pvp is what should be dead , unbalanced brainless crap lol

i never ever defended the games early game up to itemlevel 1370
i actually quit myself in february because of it..until some other people showed me videos of the endgame legion raids and i got interested in it again because it just looked so well designed and challenging combined with a great combat system in comparison to other mmo's

its also true that i find most other games leveling process boring.. even ff14's story was unenjoyable for me for the most part..eso? also boring to me
the only mmo i can think of where i enjoy the early game the same as the endgame is runescape
and thats because runescape isnt that different at the early game from the late game
plenty of people will also tell that world of warcraft early game is boring

Truth is..if you cant handle some more "boring" early game, then chances are that you are no MMO player at all.
hell, if you cant handle monotonous gameplay then chances are you are no mmo player at all..in every mmo you are gonna do the same things over and over again in endgame..thats how they work
its just that some other games do a better job at being social
or they give more stuff to do for casual players.. like crafting jobs and whatever like that
or they are focused on pvp to spice things up.. and pvp games are an endless no brainer
but pvp mmos are completely different from pve themepark mmos

there is really not much which makes lost ark objectively bad in comparison to other mmo's ( besides how smilegate and amazon handle the problems of our version)

because... the modern player is weak, 95% of the players find it difficult even in pve, pvp is hell for them and they try to avoid it in every possible way, because they are afraid that they will be killed.

It sucks. The only thing good going for this game is the combat system that works amazingly well in PvP with little to no connection issues. The PvE is so boring. Everything dies in one hit or you die in one hit and it just drones on and on lol.

Have u even tried any of the legion raids ?
Youll def change ur mind about it as soon as u do.
Raiding in this game feels amazing and is not easy compared to other games.

Pvp has never been that well received in arpg's. POE did a huge update on it early on and literally no one does it.
