How do people get 90%+ Quality Weapons?

Do they just go to that vendor and buy Chaos Orbs for 1,000 gold each, buy a ton of them and just keep rolling it until they get 90% +?

Is that how it's done?

first crafting always around 40 to 50. lowest was 25. since its just gold burner features, i just use it for primary boost. support with chest and pants, dps with shoulder and gloves.

if its lucky then idk, those two i single tapping to 80 i think, idk not online in game. rest armor are trash quality for sure. even on my bard weapons 3 quality lol

If you got on average between 40-50's on all 6 gear pieces of 1445 relics, then yes you are VERY lucky. To get a 40+ quality on a roll (regardless of quality upgrade OR craft), its a 23% chance. And if you tapped an 80, then congrats you won an 1.89% roll chance.

Most crafts of any of the relic sets will be <25 quality. Again note this ONLY applies to the valtan & vykas RELIC sets that have a 1445 requirement. Lower tiers then this does not use the same quality and can very easily get 70's+ on.

For 1445 relic I found that dismantle / rebuild is way cheaper than upgrading quality with chaos orbs.

At some points you can't upgrade anymore your gear (because here there are no pity system), So if you have like 87 quality you will spend all your gold (300) and orbs to get maybe a 5 pts quality increase, but generaly you'll just run short on gold or orbs maybe both.

But if you dismantle /recraft : you'll have a low quality gear that can be easier upgraded.

Dismantle /recraft only cost you gold (500) and the orbs (1), because you get back the crafting material when you dismantle.

Yeah it cost more, but you have more chance to roll something. On the long run you spend less. (cause no pity system, so you can roll forever with chaos stones without getting one upgrade, specially if your gear is quality >70).

For me it worked better, i have all my gears >= 85 quality, very easily.
Its just 200g more, and i bet you you'll spend more than 200g to get at least one upgrade at some point.

At 62 quality you have a 5.04% chance for a successful upgrade using orbs.
If you craft a all new item that new item has a 5.04% chance to come out with 63+ quality.

The only reason the upgrade menu has a fail chance is because the quality on a item can never go down. When you hit the upgrade button the game rolls a random number and if that number is below your current quality it just says failed and nothing happens.

Incorrect on SO MANY LEVELS. The quality roll from CRAFTING is the same as the QUALITY UPGRADE chance. There is ZERO difference between the two with regards to RELIC+ Gear. You have a 1% chance to roll 90%+ crafting and a 1% chance to roll 90%+ quality upgrade.

DO NOT DISMANTALE and recraft RELIC tier stuff. It costs you an EXTRA 200g each time (500g for craft, 300g for quality upgrade). Both cost you the relic stone. There is ZERO benefit from dismantling and recrafting as BOTH use the same % table for the quality.

Never Salvage and Recraft Relic Gear for better quality. You spend 200 MORE gold crafting the relic piece again then just quality upgrading. Crafting the item gives NO BENEFIT then quality upgrading and crafting costs 1 stone and 500g & 10 relic materails while quality upgrade only costs 1 stone and 300g (for armors).

The Stones of Chaos from the vendor is plainly told that the price goes up as you purchase more stones (up to 10) from 500 to 900g which then you pay 1k per stone for the rest of the week.. It works exactly the same as the infinite choas dungeon vendor.

when i first crafted my relic weapon it was with 0 quality. every quality upgrade failed up to 5 times in a row and number 6 succeeded to 20% next one 30% and then jumped to 70% yikes

Below the Tier 3 relics, it is essentially almost full random from 0 to 100. But the T3 Relics have a different "odds" value for the quality (since the quality will stick with you even when you upgrade with the bralshaza relics. Getting above 50 on the relic armors is not very easy and getting to full blue quality is a very low chance.
