Chaos dungeon AFK

I know you will say better go solo, no please, for me soloing is way slower and painfuller than party.

Hi guys, I have been seeing a lot of AFKers in the chao, they were not bots, they were actual players with actual stats. They straight AFK and did nothing except at the end moving around to collect loots and go near portals.

The best thing is, they somehow rigged the game and three of us in the party could not warn nor report them, it return "Invalid area". How is it even possible?

Then I'm sorry, but you appear to be the issue then. Soloing on any class with a proper chaos build is miles faster than any party.
Either you aren't running a chaos build (for example on a scapper, the default build is ♥♥♥♥ in chaos dungeons, but the chaos dungeon build is amazing. Same with pinnacle glaivier. Supports same thing, they have a chaos build, don't go running normal support set lmao)

sure, there is not real problem doing chaos dungeons solo with a proper build. I think the point of this thread is the dudes joining a team game and going afk while also using a glitch so you can not warn/report/kick them.

Once again, sounds like a you problem. If you refuse to setup a 2nd preset of skills and even gear preset that has different engravings and/or accessories (pali and bard, as dps classes shouldn't need to do this), then you only have yourself to blame. Everyone gets two preset tabs for free without needing to use blue crystals. Utilise them.

Most of my characters have 2 presets, and most people I know have dedicated chaos presets.
If you think about how much time you are saving with a chaos build in minutes compared to a raid build, multiply that by how many characters you have, and then multiply that by 7 days, then weeks etc. You will be savings hours of your time every few weeks to a month by having chaos builds.

Bard has one of the best skill for mob clearing and it's called Prelude of Death. I can clear Chaos Gate in about 4-5 min

thats true, it should get punished, but with what? 5min matchmaking penality after 3 offenses? wont change much.

and since only hyper casuals do chaos dungeon in groups in the first place, there will always be afk guys there. or even bots.
and how do you want to prevent people from going afk in the first place? you cant.


easiest solution to this entire problem is to invest 10mins into a chaos dungeon build and do them solo.
thats what people are saying here.

its the easiest solution, where you dont even need to rely on other people.
(there is enough content where you need to group anyways. )

Ah yes. Playing MMOs solo. How it's supposed to be played. Why is this even an MMO in the first place if the META encourages such anti social behaviour in game?

Because there is still like 8+ others things that you don't solo. MMOs don't need 100% of things to be done with other players.

I don't understand why people ♥♥♥♥ on posts like these. Solo game play, play a rpg. Co-op game play you play MMOrpg. Just because its bots to blame, just ignore the post and move on.

I hope you the best in the ques but sadly you usually get them in matchmaking :/ All the way up to argos.

You ONLY hurt your chaos dungeon loot by doing them in a party. Bards can clear the CD almost as fast as DPS (assuming they do not get a red portal). DO CD's solo, you get more mats and never have to worry about afks.

The AFKS are there to EXPOIT the dummies that chose to not do it solo.

Because there is still like 8+ others things that you don't solo. MMOs don't need 100% of things to be done with other players.

Do chaos dungeons solo. Do guardians solo. Do the island quests solo. Do the levelling solo. Do Una solo.

The only thing you do in a party are abyss dungeons, legion raids and open world events. All of them have terrible time locks and you will barely touch these.

What's the point of this being an MMO? Just have it be a singleplayer RPG. Add server browser for the tiny bit of content that requires other people.
