Reliable way to get t3 armor after punika solo

Title. I just finished Punika's main story stuff, and promptly went to the star 1 chaos dungeon or whatever it's called to replace my +15 Tier 2s. Did it 4 times, and managed to not get a tier 3 chest armor to drop.. Tried the auction house and I can only find purple and orange t3 chest pieces for sale, no blues, and the purple/orange ones wont let me war them until I hit gear score 1375 first or something like that, which is hard for me to reach while still rocking a tier 2 chest armor. Doing the chaos dungeon more times than the 2 daily seems to not drop any armor at all, so I can't just keep grinding that.

Is there a vendor or something that sells basic t3 armor? Kinda bummed the dungeon at the end of Punika's story didn't give me a set from a 1st time clear chest or something.

Last, kinda doubt it, but is there an island like dreamgull island for t3 honing materials? Or at least, which islands should I focus on to get t3 honing mats the fastest?

you are extremely unlucky
there is no other way to get the gear.. yea its a senseless system which doesnt get fixed

and i dont think there are any islands which give t3 mats.. since i completed almost all of them
use the free punika power pass to boost an alt to t3 too

the progress in this game will become painfully slow for you when you dont create alts, i can tell you that

when you reach 1370 i predict that you either create alts or you quit the game (unless you are okay with taking months to get to the top)

im suggesting and talking about alts because its what you could do while your main is stuck not dropping t3 gear

On hard dif:
- Arias oculus, its pretty easy
- Prevezza, it can be hard

- Argos P1 is enough

There are the mats (more when buying chests) to create legendary gear. After the transfer, from epic to legend, they have +6 and also 1370. From there, you can upgrade as much + and GS as you want and you can solo again.

Then it depends on which set you want or if you want a relic set, then valtan and/or vykas raids are needed.

This is why i'm still 1370. Doesn't help that i played as lone wolf since day 1 since i have no friends playing it. I need to rely on public matchmaking on several things, and you never know what kind of team you get on high difficulty so you can fail unless you are lucky to get a "carrier" or two on the team.

I used Punika pass to boost a new alt, but it got 130 instead of 1370.
I propably missed out on some "memo" on this.

I completed all story quests including South Vern, so i basically just do random stuff now. I still have 6/7 Arks.
I read that Ark 7 isn't added to the game yet, but i don't know if it's true.

I were stuck with Tier 1 for so long that i went from Tier 1 to Tier 3 in only 3-5 days or so for free.

well if you solo it chaos d, you can get atleast in 3day to complete the gear if you unlucky

I'm not sure what you're talking about with the "T3 Chest pieces for sale" as "armors" from the chaos dungeon cannot be listed in the market (Perhaps way before like at the start of Lost Ark? Idk. Maybe you're talking about skins). Only thing I can say is the whole set of armor is 100% guaranteed after the second clear, from my experience at least. What I've noticed is you will most likely have 1 piece of armor missing after clearing the chaos dungeon for the first time. Clear it the second time and you'll have the missing armor. This happened to all my characters (8 atm). I never got a full set of armor just from the first clear. Might want to check your auto dismantle options or sort your items without dismantling anything after your daily chaos dungeon. Also, I believe the equipment that contains the gears for the appropriate Tier stops at Tier 1. You're only given the North Vern set that sets you to 302. After that, it's always chaos dungeon to complete the set. I strongly believe your equipment just got dismantled or something and that yes, chaos dungeons only drop equipment if you have aura of resonance (100 given per day/50 per run) that resets daily.

I'm assuming you're a newbie with your first T3 character. To progress in T3, you will have to sign up your main to the current event: Hyper Express. It's the gift like icon right below your minimap. It will jumpstart your T3 character and your only problem would probably be gold. Use the free power passes as much as you can as honing to T3 is way easier now and getting another character to 1340 (so you can do weekly abyssal dungeon: orehas well) is cheap and doable atm (Not sure if the +honing rates to 1370 will be gone by September 28). For now focus on getting your main character to 1385 then research the +honing rate in your stronghold. Don't rush things or you'll get burned out. Don't think too much about min/maxing for now. Use this time to slowly learn everything.

Same boat here. I mostly played solo for the first three to four weeks. Someone started "guiding" me around the 4th week onwards but it's mostly just me asking what the hell does this thing do or is this thing important/should I keep it kind of conversations. That someone actually gave me some guidelines and tips and tricks on what to do and stuff but I can't digest the information since I was new and confused with everything so that kinda went to waste. T1 and T2 dungeons were kinda fine back then (EXCEPT FOR THE UNDERWATER ♥♥♥♥) for a solo player/solo queue. Things got a lil harder in T3 but not impossible. Took me approximately 3-4 weeks to reach my first 1370 character and understand most of the things in the game. Another 1-2 weeks to get to 1385 then I focused on my alts. I already have a 600ish item level Pala back then and a 400ish Bard. I then wasted my Feiton Powerpass on the Paladin because I forgot how powerpasses work (Was already at +14 equipments) and I kept them in storage to remind myself to watch videos/research first before clicking on something that looks important ;p. Took me about a month or a month and a half to raise every alt to T3 and my main was stumped on 1385 for that whole month.

^Timeline of my progress: May 24ish - June 24ish = First T3 character. June 24ish - around August 8ish = good progress on my alts (1-2 1340s, 2-3 1370s, etc.).

Regarding the arks, yes they can't be completed atm. I'm not even sure if the korean server already has 7/7. All i know is there's a new continent in the korean server that looks absolutely gorgeous.

Kinda salty with some of the new players actually as they keep begging for carries in nacrasena and igrexion (T3). These contents can be easily cleared without proper engravings. My alts did all the content with barely 2 level 3 engravings and most of them only had their class engraving. Other players I played with in those dungeons were in the same boat so no one had the right to complain lol. Takes a bit longer like +2 - +5 minutes but definitely doable. Don't fall into the trap of "needing" a carry in every T3 content. You can do it (and hopefully don't experience gate keeping) with just a bit more effort and with players that actually use their brain to understand that not everyone just magically gets 3x3/3x4 engravings.

Just unlucky. Try to get some rest bonus by not running feiton Chaos a day or two before you can head to punika. Rest bonus greatly increases the number of drops thus more chances for the gear drops. There is no way of getting the gear otherwise.

Btw, these aren't armour pieces, you cannot equip them at any ilvl. They are used for tripods only.
So you wasted pheons buying it if you did.

Getting too much information about Lost Ark early on sure is too overwhelming.
In fact lots of that information is irrelevant until you reach level 50.
At least i were smart enough to save chests, many currencies etc. for months just in case.
I never used honing chests at Tier 1+2 either as i got enough from Chaos Dungeons etc.

There is one simple feature in Lost Ark i found as recent as yesterday. lol
There is a dedicated storage for armor + skins only. I can't believe i didn't check this from the start. I didn't use the market first months for selling anything, so i missed out on a lot of easy gold on the huge stock of unused tradable Tier 1+2 honing materials for example.
At least i kept all the tradable books where some is of great value.
I have done a quite a few mistakes.

Congrats for getting to 1385. I have seen that some even have over 1500 and i suspect some of these might have been on my team in Boss Rush for example as they take out bosses wave 10+ bosses in probably 2-3 seconds alone.

As for Ark 7, perhaps they wait as long as possible to keep more players playing Lost Ark.
Hopefully todays update adds something new.

I never asked for any carrier ever, because it makes me look like a beggar.
When i did hardest Abyssal Dungeons with random people for example i said i were newbie at this, but people were fine with that.
I did check Youtube boss guides first, so i weren't clueless how to do them on first try.

Abyss Hard or Argos friend. Ignore the people who write endless crap. Then u can craft new set. There is no drops only those 2 & u cant solo them u need to group

The fix is to make sure you have one green bar available and (I think)50 of that thing(forgot what it was called - Aura of Resonance?). I make sure I have those 2 available every time I go to a Chaos Dungeon. I always do it solo, and I always get absolutely showered with loot drops(including a LOT of armour pieces in every Chaos Dungeon). Those 2 things available ensure maximum loot.

If fully solo the story of ilvl stop @ 1370, but there is plenty of content to do

CD 1370+ are just damaged piece for stats transfer

You can build another alt too.

or try to create a group where you feel good, and learn group content without the loser who ask you to know everything in your first time and thinks "hey it's normal to watch tutorial video on youtube before try ! " .. yeah ok .. how the first players did it so ? .. :D

anw, it's not the end of the content, you just reach a Ilvl Wall for solo player. that's why Lost ark is not a real MMO, you cannot do what you want, you always need someone if you want to pretend to be maxed.

Like, .. why there is timer on ship ? soloing the 1370 boss is not hard at all, but here is not enough time solo .. if i want to pass 1 hour fighting a boss easy peasy, coz there is no one in this game (for example) .. why not ?

Always have to deal with others is boring, when the content can be done alone, timers means only one thing: this game is for casuals.. the only difficulty is the timer, everything else is easy.
