1340 Honing buff
I am confused about how the next honing buff is going to happen. I have heard that you have to be 1460 to gain it. I think there is a 1370-1415 buff at 1460 and a 1340-1370 buff at 1415? Some one who knows what is coming down the pipeline please enlighten me to the specifics.

This is how the stronghold bonuses are currently are.

1302 -> 1370 is unlocked when you have once character reach 1385.
(The stronghold bonus only applies for +1 to +15 but the 1302 set only goes to +15 so it applys to all of it).

The buff that has been confirmed NOT coming with vykas is the 10% honing bonus for the Legendary Sets upon reaching 1460. It will grant 10% honing bonus up to +15 (essentially 1415).
Note that if you use the CHEAPER method to get to 1415, +16 and +17 would NOT get the bonus hones.
Stronghold bonuses only ever apply up to +15.

You get the t3 buff up till 1370 at 1385 man. I know this cause I have it, and my highest is 1400 atm.

I believe the 1385 honing research only works from 1302-1340

The 1460 buff only works for 1340 set.

The 1460 buff only goes from 1370+ I believe. I am mostly curious when we will be getting the 1340-1370 deadzone buff that I believe requires 1415.

Oh no the 1302 pushes ilvl to 1370.

The 1340 gear pushes ilvl 1370 to 1490.

Is the 1415 buff already live?

To be honest, I forgot which ilvl to get 1340-1370 buff, but we already got it. (10% buff)
So what I am waiting for is 1370+ buff.
I don't want to suffer in honing like my main in my alt.

People already gave the answer. But a nice trick waiting for the honing buff is to push 2 or 3 pieces to +17 to reach 1415 for instance and keep the rest at +11 or +12. So you'll unlock the content you are looking for and still partially benefit from the honing chance increase when it is released. If you upgrade everything at +15, you won't gain anything from it.

1385 gives stronghold research for 1302-1370. Then once Vykas comes out most likely we will get the research for 1370-1415 which requires 1460 to get.

This, most people use the helm to upgrade beyond +15 as it is the cheapest to do. And leave the weapon at a lower level +11/12

Standard 1415 that most use now is a 12/17 build where you leave 4 pieces at 12 and level 2 to 17. This saves you 8 - 15% hone chances. Granted if your pushing to 1445, then you will still have to do those 8 hones but to 1415, saving 8 hones is HUGE. You have the exact same number of 10% hones with both hone methods.
