I think one of the CM said you can be mailed large amounts of gold, but the moment you accept it and investigation turns up it came from a gold seller, you're taking responsibility for it. If you don't know if the gold is clean, return the gold back to the sender.
If they don't outright perma ban you, it's a temp ban and they remove all your gold.
That's what I hear on official forums.
he even told me a few months ago, that he will not get banned and did it before a few times..seems like they just took their time.
Same happened to me back in the days, i got banned in wow for rmt, 6 months later, when i didn't even have a sub..and got banned for 2 weeks, even tho i didn't play or have a subscription. But he literally got perma banned, which is really strange to me..
If its part of their eco-system, they probably let it slide or they would lose like 50% of the existing playerbase of whales.
