NA West is flooded with bots and NA East is flooded with streamers
both suffer the same issues
You save so much time just straight up rmting. $1 = 1K gold. So if you work one full day and cash in on rmt, you going to get like 100k-200k gold.
And no, I never spent a cent.
i've heard some stories from reddit that people bought like 500k gold and only received 3 days ban... thats ridiculous. how the heck do they not punish the buyers..
Yes, that's a big part of why botting has gotten worse lately
The 'common' knowledge release that people who deliberately went out and spent 100k+ on 3rd party websites and only got a 3 day ban (with the items they spent the gold on kept on their accounts for them to keep using after their 3 day ban) led to a sharp increase in RMT usage as some players saw it moving from a black/white thing to a gray zone
Amazon CM saying they would not outright permanently ban players who RMT if its a 'first offense and not much currency was exchanged' just opened those floodgates really
They needed to go sorched earth on botting/hacking/exploits/RMT
Because once players lose faith in the integrity of the game its a snowball downhill of bad things happening and good players giving up the fight and moving to other games in time due to loss of that faith
Why spend 18 hours a day in-game farming and 1000 dollars of your own money in royal crystals if the next player can spend 100 dollars on RMT and exceed your growth in the game without real penalty for taking that shortcut?
It will get worse when more GvG happens and its not going to be good for the health of the game long term with such a hands off approach to the bot situation that is punishing real players and making people re-think on spending their real money in-game if its long term future is murky due to the above
