Looks like the market is asking me to deposit Gold in order to get Gold. But how can I do that when I dont have 1 gold to my credit?

- Una Task Tokens : What are they? How do I get them?
- Abyssal Dungeons : Where are they? Are they soloable?
- Gold Adventure Islands : Where do I look out for these? Im still in East Luterra -> Not sure if this matters.
I remember when I was looking around for how to earn gold while being below level 50 and so I was searching for a video on earning gold for newbs. I found a few on YT titled "Beginners guide for earning gold" and they all started with, go do dungeons, islands, raids, Una's tasks, and I was like "huh"? How is this available for newbs that are below level 50? Most of these YTubers would answer..."well stop being a newb!" thats how you make gold as a newb. Was not too helpful for me. :(
For me, I want to explore the world and sail around and do every side quest, earn rapports, find Makoko seeds, farm items and build the stronghold and such and I am in no hurry to get to N Vern. So the ways I earn gold are different from others. But since I don't want to have to play a game in a method that I find not enjoyable for me, I found alternative methods for earning gold pre level 50. It may not be the way you want to do it and going to N. Vern and reaching lvl 50 asap may be your best method if you want to earn a lot of gold.
Abyssal Dungeons : Each Tier has 2 of these (which contain 2 to 3 stages in the same type), except for T3, which only has 1. You can start these by going to the Abyssal Dungeon statue in each town, or by using the Integrated Dungeon feature. They unfortunately can't be soloed (won't even let you try). Each Abyssal Dungeon has a limit of one clear per stage, per week, per character. Lower Tier Abyssal Dungeons stop giving gold rewards after you surpass a certain item level on that character.
Gold Adventure Islands : You can check if there is a Gold Adventure Island using the Compass widget on the hotbar below your minimap on the right (should be the 2nd or 3rd one from the left, I beleive). If there is one, make sure you sail to the island before it's up (there's a timer on the compass page for the islands that tell you when the next one spawns, and theres a button you can push that shows you where said island is on the map) so you don't miss it and do it's event to get credit for the rewards (each island is different, some require fighting, others have you doing other things. Some of the events require you to have specific things to complete certain events, but this shouldn't stop you from getting credit for the rewards, usually.)
However, all these things require you to be level 50, and most require at least T1 basic gear. If you're still in Luterra you have a long way to go. Just keep doing the story and gear up when you get to it. Gold is not required for any kind of needed progression until T3, when you need it to pay for upgrade attempts among other things. So yeah, don't worry about gold too much now. If the stronghold requires it for some reason, just put that off until you have the gold needed. Stronghold is not required for progression, though some of the things you can craft in it are helpful late game.
Hopefully this is enough information for you.
Thanks - very detailed and highly useful!! I liked the tip someone here made of doing < 1 gold of sales. This game is so much fun though!!!
Right now mushrooms and flowers sell for 100-120g per stack on EUC, so if you get a donation to get started, you can make a lot of gold selling that. I think it's because a new class and a new raid is out, so the prices might drop eventually in a few weeks, so I suggest selling a few stacks now if you have any, and that should keep you covered for any stronghold costs.
