More power pass and growth support... great...
WTF ? They killed 2/3 of the game's content already and now we're gonna see 1415+ with no xp, no engravings, no gems, no cards, no tripods, even more than before.

Doing this sh.t is killing matchmaking and force people into making party with absurd condition in order to apply.
Why can't they let the people play and learn the game like everyone did ? I don't understand the strategy behind this. High end content is very limited right now so what's the point of rushing everyone to 1415+ ?

Can't wait to see 1500+ with a 45 roster level and the economy to become even more fk'd up. have you seen the gold/crystal ratio ? Yo it should be like that after few years like in Korea, not months...

We don't need the game to make everything free to new players, players can help themselves. That's why guilds are for, carry are for... OG players were perfectly able to help the beginners getting there faster without taking away the learning curve.

Power Pass:
1. Players will receive a Punika Powerpass after completing Punika's quest “Berver's Friend”. To access this quest, players must first complete all Adventure Quests (marked by purple exclamation marks) on Punika to collect stamps and become a citizen. Once the final quest in this chain, “Honorary Punikan" has been completed, you can talk to Nia in Nia village to start "Berver's Friend." If you've already finished the quest before the update, you'll get the Powerpass when the event starts! This Event Powerpass will be delivered via in-game mail.

1302-1415:
2. Similar to an Express Event, you can designate a character between item Level 1302 and 1415 on your roster to participate in the Special Event Missions, where they’ll earn honing materials to quickly level up to 1415

New bloods are good for games.

Um, welcome to what every MMO essentially does, old content gets sped up. The 1415 global buff is a known buff and for KR came with Bralshaza and in JP/R came with clown. Sorry to burst your bubble but valtan is OLD content.

Heres some relief for you, there ARE no more honing buffs beyond this point, even in KR with the max level being in the 1600s.

Strategy is pretty simple really. The longer the games lifespan is, the easier it will be to catch up to current content. This makes it more appealing for new and or returning players to jump in, and not take months to catch up to their friends. If you had to hone the way we did on launch, exactly no one would every pick this game up as a new player unless they were loaded with cash, this acceleration is needed.

I agree but the KR waited way more longer before having this, and their economy wasn't ruined by bots in the first place. It has a totally different impact on our servers on a game not even a year old.
If they waited till we get Brel on our servers for the first growth boost, then it would have been better.
That's what i think anyway, only my take on this.

I get what you said about catching up with their friends, but still we would make new friends playing at the ilevel we're at right ? Even without any express pass and growth support we can still catch up. The update rate is slow.

Gold just lose value every time they are doing it. And people don't actually play more, they just do or or make more bus with fresh alts. That's it.

Eh the first growth boost was fine. We got it roughly the same time as the other servers got it. For me if it was me i personally would of waited to release the 1415 until Brashlaza as well but I can see the purpose since JR/RU got it at clown as well.
They ARE taking the right steps in at least putting gear level limits on certain things. Plus every time a bot is banned, they STILL have to relevel and regear that account again (using the passes is NOT cost effective for them). As long as its not "you start right here at end game" for free type thing, It still will blunt the blow of the bots.

Know as well that there ARE no more boosts after the 1415 one either. So the bots ARE going to fall futher behind the end game now going forward since they would have to spend the cost to hone to 1490 AND actually run the dungeon as well. Plus Clown and above is not easy to bus so it will be hard for bots to be bussed into the next tier as well.

Actually i'm old lol.
I started on MMO like Lineage II which is a totally different mindset. Sh.t were hard back in the days. If you wanted something you had to play the game like everyone else did.

I just think it's sad to not be able to find some T1 and T2 guardian matchmaking because nobody is doing it anymore, same for chaos rift, daily raids, etc...
So yeah, just make a lobby asking for a carry then move on, get your 100% success upgrate then reach 1370, jump on Argos bus, get your Argos set, upgrade till 1415 then jump on Valtan bus and so on.
And one day you're in full relic set and you have barely played this game.

Because having more new players at 1415+ doesn't mean people are gonna take em into party. They wont... You can already see "Reclear, show title, fail = kick, high roster only, etc...

This is just doing more bus really, and decreasing the gold value.

The only bus that really decreases gold's value is argos. The other buses do not since technically those characters can DO the dungeon themselves unlike argo's busses which a 1370 really cannot do the 1385 or 1400 versions of agros thereful getting 1900 more gold into the economy.
And bussing in general matters LESS on the gold value scale anyway. Just think the amount of gold that is CURRENTLY generated for free right now on any normal roster these days. You have at least 30k+ coming in per roster these days that is "printed" gold.

T1 and T2 is old content. Its nothing that other MMOs and such also experience as well that old content is just that old. Its moreso since players can esentially skip that content with their alts as well. Its true for a lot of games with leveling systems that if you are NOT around at the time stuff launches, its pretty safe to say that content becomes solo content later.

I play for the story not to meet people. So how about MMO's in general stop forcing half the player base to fight battles with rando's in order to progress. The ilvl system is designed to either wait months on end to get enough mats to hone and fail over and over again or spend RL money in the shop in hopes you get up there faster. You could create rosters of toons which most of us don't have time to do. Or do what a good portion of the "OG" player base does, which is RMT. You and all the others can deny it all you want. The kraken and whales spend thousands of dollars to get to where they are at. They didn't work for it. They threw money at it. I take care of my 14 y/o daughter who has been fighting cancer. I don't have all day hoping I get into raids and then spending hours with randoms just to fail because nobody is willing to teach other players how to do them. Videos showing the fight only helps in the sense that it gives you an idea what to expect but it is not going to be embedded into everyone's memory. Doing the fights it how people learn.

I don't think you can do Valtan or Vykas easily with sh.ty alts without proper engravings or gems, etc... it can be done but it take players that knows the fight well and know how to play their alt. But nowadays everyone can have their 5 free alts atleast 1370 and now 1415 easily without having to invest much gold or time in it and just jump in a bus, Which mean you will get a lot more players getting that gold on a full roster therefore decreasing the value of the gold on your server.
That's why the gold/crystal ratio is already so high and it will get higher.

We have the economy of the KR servers in less than a year with far less content. Of course it would have been this way anyway granted time but not this fast right ? Before power pass and stuff it was time consuming to level up a decent alt, so 5 ?

And the players dedicated enough to grind those alts were actually contributing to make the game alive, on all tiers. The only good thing i can think of from those change is, the price of legendary books might decrease. More alts = more chance to drop them = more books on the market but really that's about it.

We're gonna get bracelets soon anyway so...

Imagine being someone who thinks tier 1 and tier 2 are good content.

Content starts with 1415, 1370 was a prison for a long time and influx of 1415 alts will increase the variety in auction house of jewelry items.

Not every players are doing RMT, sure you can find plenty of whales but there are many f2p players aswell. I liked the low and mid tiers content, really. It was worth playing and meeting players doing it was cool.
Failing Achates or Karkosa, Alaric, it was fun lol. To me MMOs are not about the destination but about the journey. Maybe that's why i'm not a fan of these power growth and express pass stuff.

Because in the end, they are not releasing update fast enough so really, playing old content was still something i loved.
