We will eventually. Remember they have like months and months of content droughts (like it took a long time for elgacia and now akkan to come out), they had like a year's break between major content drops and such.
Dont expect us to fully catch up until like the end of 2023 or start of 2024.
What does catching up to KR mean to AGS/SG?
Right now NA/EU's content tier is 1475. KR's content tier is 1580/1600. Artifact gear jumps by 10 levels and not 15 to the content tiers are slower in the artifact gear after bralshaza.
I stopped playing the game a few months ago but if i understood correctly legion raid are the last things KR got so the game is almost caught up to KR.
The content is not coming slowly, vykas release was 2 months ago. If you going to play an mmo suck it up or go play something else while you wait for a new update, in the end you'll wait way more than 6-12 months for an update if we catch up with KR anyway.
I was wondering about this, Thaemine was the raid that I thought would bring KR and NA/EU together.
I wonder what would happen then, would more or less people want to play the game at that time?
Probably less people but more than what we have now, im just spitballing
Uhmmm the content drip aligns well with QFR's (Quarterly Financial Report) which is a mandatory presentation to show how profitable a venture is.
Argos was released in March and March 30 is Amazon's QFR date. In Amazon's eyes they are just showing how much money they can make per quarter. Some players view AGS release greedy but yeah they are just going on schedule.
Content drip, big events, and catch-up mechanics will always be close to QFR dates. March-July - September - December with Amazon schedule. This aligns everything from movies, tv series, new brands, and products, etc. With a few holiday sales exceptions like Black Friday etc.
With this kind of product when they are selling "TIME" with a "RENTED" character. It is the best approach, they will not expedite it because players are hungry for content.
Doubt it is going to happen we will always be delayed unless they intentionally set back Thaemine for years.
Argos March -
Vykas - June 30
Clown - September
Brelz - December maybe push late November to catch Black Friday.
They all coincide close to QFR as I already mentioned. The rest of the content we will have is Catch Up mechanics like Passes, Classes, etc for every quarter.
Smilegate also has QFRs, AGS/Amazon they all work with different schedules that target specifically their investors.
As now how many people will keep playing daily, nobody knows, if anybody tell you a exact number either being lower or higher is purely bs.
But i like the way you think. It would be cool if Thaemine would had a global release, but i truly don't believe it's going to happen. :c
