Why would you not buy it. it is the highest dps engraving, and works on every single dps class. Literally the best investment if you actually play the game with numerous alts and not just 1-3 characters.

Also in order to get 5x3, ONE of your books needs to be +12 and grudge is just the best option.

Secondly "If I had luck with 9/7 stone" 9/7 stone is what Koreans even after year/s still strive for. It is a 0.07% chance to cut, so basically you'll likely never ever get it, nor should you try purposefully push for one. You will spend 200k+ gold in pheons and still have no chance.

Also you are talking about building 1 single character, which in my original post said if you only building 1-3 characters, yes grudge books may not be the best option. But if you are building more than that, and pushing numerous alts to 5x3, yes grudge for the legendary book is the best option (seemingly except on your 1 specific server, but every other server seems fine), as all DPS use grudge, but not all DPS use adrenaline, or cursed doll, or whatever other DPS engraving you wanna say. And again, you need at least 1 book at legendary in order to 5x3, that is unavoidable.

Lastly, you say no one has 200-400k gold, yet rn I'm sitting at over 300k and not once have I bought royals to convert them to gold, or ever RMT'd. Just accumulated from doing daily and weekly content, selling busses, selling gems and some other mats, and just selling decent accessories that I don't want. Also many people in my guild are in similar situations who also haven't RMT'd or royal to gold converted.

Just from Valtan, Vykas, and Argos every week across all my characters I make 51k (bit less if I decide to open boxes on certain characters) raw gold, then another ~6k a week from selling busses.

I don't have 20 alts, only 5 and already that takes too much time, i question sanity of people who have so many alts and actually play them all.

Now let's say IF i had so many alts i still wouldn't buy leg grudge books, instead i would use all that gold to buy accessories,stones and gems for all these alts.

Grudge is not the highest DPS engraving. It is one of the worst engravings in the game.

+20% damage from all sources for +20% damage to only Boss mobs.

Never take a penalty in an MMO game. Ever. Players who love Grudge are also players who use Hit Master because they're lazy and steamroll easy content then slap themselves on the back for having the best crit ever.

Real players don't care about crits. They care about beating the content, not their own e-peen chest to feel important.
