I dislike cowboy shot so much :(!
If we're talking about regular skills, sorry don't have much experience there. Someone mentioned Deathblade's Surge which can pull some pretty numbers but I think Sorceress's Meteor should take the prize on that one. That is if Sorceress is using the Igniter build.
Dont know how high a complete superbuffed and equipped Spirit bomb will do.
You know you can compare classes that are already released ;).
Plus, this- Of the classes we currently have we can still measure.
But it's moot. Because the answer is World Decimation(Spirit bomb), Hands down. It's the cheater in the corner with 4 aces but noone can prove they cheated.
World decimation is the only thing that makes Soul Fist even remotely viable compared to other classes as the sheer single hit damage of the spirit bomb massively outweighs all the negatives of the rest of their kit (AKA: Practically zero damage in their kit otherwise, low utility, etc.)
Of course, it takes forever to cast(6+ seconds?) and can easily miss, sooo...yeah. There's that. But when it comes to single hit damage number potential, It's 100% World Decimation as king.
Not sure what soulfists you play with or how u play ur's, but at 1396 i still take mvp over zerks, db's etc... and u use energy overflow and not robust spirit with world decimation. Granted other classes can do what I do much easier and with less required engravings, stats etc... its not a noob friendly class takes time to learn and investment.
But with SF you have to do a lot of learning, a lot of investment, you have to really KNOW the bosses, need the exact right engravings, etc, etc, etc... Meanwhile, the zerker you're gaining MVP over is face rolling his keyboard with crappy engravings and doing 90% as well as you who put a huge amount of work into learning and mastering your character.
Don't get me wrong- I love SF. It was my first character and I adore it. But, Every other character I've tried (Paladin, Gunlancer, Sorceress, Gunslinger, Deathblade) have made my SF feel so weak when comparing similar amounts of investment. For groups that I need 3-7 skills to clear as an SF my Sorceress casts one spell. For hard targets that my SF needs to ult on, my gunslinger does with a sniper skill on a 30s cooldown. My Paladin feels better to fight with and like it does appreciable damage in comparison. And my gunlancer laughs in the face of death while doing fair damage and providing a great deal of utility and stagger.
Plus, SF is just plain awful in T1 and T2- It's only in T3 and at 1340+ that it really starts to catch up to the pack and begin shining.
But anywho, Whether SF is good/bad aside, the answer to the OP is still very much that World Decimation(Spirit Bomb) is absolutely hands down the hardest hitting single-hit skill in the game.
