Fix your BSOD ♥♥♥♥!
OK this is the second time this piece of ♥♥♥♥ game has caused repeat BSOD on what is essentially a brand new PC. I've played since the last update without fail and this morning it decides for the second time to do this. I won't risk my hardware for some half baked desire to play this gamba simulator. Fix your ♥♥♥♥ Smilegate/Amazon.

EAC has some data on their site to resolve, but the game as a whole doesn't support Windows 11 which could also be a factor.

But nutshell answer: it's not the machine. BSOD can also mean bad programs doing bad things, not exclusively hardware -- BSOD actually provides a dump file to show this.

If you’re getting BSOD it’s an issue with your PC

What do you mean? We need EAC or the game would be filled with bots.

Yes it is.

BSOD, in nearly every instance, is an issue with YOUR PC. Try to research the error code you get when the BSOD occurs, it can help you pinpoint the issue.

I see you are upset. Unfortunately, you aren't yet upset enough to 1) tell the right people, 2) do anything of consequence about it. Perhaps in time you will become upset enough to find the solution.

I've played this game for almost 700 hours and have never had a BSOD.

There is a 99.9999% chance that this has something to do with your PC.

I would start there, if I were you.

They did not yet fix the stuttering in chaos dungeon which affecting everyone since 2 weeks so you will wait for 1 or 2 eternity for your problem... :steambored:

Just because you don't have a bug arising, does not mean the bug does not exist. Why is that easy concept so hard to grasp in this forum?

So your PC has an Intel AMD processor, with 16, 32, 64 and 128 GB ram, you are connected via WifiEthernet and your Nvidia Geforce Radeon Super TI Midrange Graphics card is up 2 date? (BTW this question should just show that your PC *cannot* be a measurement to show that are no bugs, one single machine can only be a measurement to track down a specific bug)

BSOD can already be caused by a couple of illegal memory calls, which has been quite often been identified to be done by EAC and similar tools due to system monitoring.
And tbh - it is so easy to just create a BSOD when using parallel frameworks on GPUs or an inexperienced programmer tries to hack together a DirectX program.

Well, technically you're correct, it does have something to do with my PC. But not all BSOD are derived from hardware alone. Any problem with any software has to do with that PC, so that's kind of a captain obvious answer.

If we're going to compare, I have owned my machine for over a year and played this game ... too much. In that time I do office apps, run VMs, play other triple-A titles, and have never, ever, once, gotten any crash on any other game that brought my machine down. Ever. Like leaving Flight Sim running and flying across the virtual world all day at max graphics while doing work on a VM and all the usual multitasking you'd expect.

It's easy for me to make the claim this problem is something within the confines of this game. But not like there is something wrong with my machine. Do you get me? I do appreciate the immediate pointer to hardware, but not all BSOD are hardware sourced, absolutely and completely. Please lets stop with the immediate reference to hardware.

My best guess at the moment is that I'm on Windows 11 which isn't listed as officially supported.

What you're implying is that there is something wrong with our machines, which could be as simple as W11, but the reality is that there is nothing wrong with the machine. It only occurs during this game, rarely, so it's not like a loose or bad memory stick, or bad connection, or many other various things that cause BSOD on a hardware level. In my case, the BSOD dump file clearly points to a EasyAntiCheat invalid call.

The easy.ac website says that you need C++ redistributables installed, which may help. I do rarely get these crashes, but we'll see if it improves.

What kind of erorr are you getting with the bsod? I just went through this ordeal and fixed it. Issue was with my PSU. However it only happened with Lost Ark....

Specifically my code was whea_uncorrectable_error. But the errors in event viewer were error volmgr 161 and error kernel 41. Those don't allow any dumps to be made. I had spare parts and I tried swapping everything up until the PSU.

For my fix, I reseated every cable, but I also swapped the power cord which I think was 99% the issue. My 850w psu came with a 13A cable, but I was using a standard 10A cable. Wanted to try this before swapping to a different PSU entirely.

No issues since then. Knock on wood.

Something like this can happen. I had also a game that crashes my PC with a bluescreen. Just a specific game. After a small error code research, it looked like a faulty RAM stick. RAM test and yes, it was it.

its your pc bro, i had issue with bsod as well and couldnt figure out if it was my drivers or what.

i went thru the gammut... and i was in similar place as u. I had a new pc and it was BSOD but for me i had to turn down the ddr5 frequency and turn off xmp or something.

u may have to search harder for ur problem. but i suggest to see if any new parts you may have installed need to be reconfigured.

EDITif you pretend you are a customer skytech gaming has great tech support u can call them

EDITED: you should use whocrashed and check the minidump files and let us see them so we can help u, but complaining about error and not detailing ur error isnt going to get u anywhere.

im using win 11 and havent had any problems with the game. or that is not correct i have had 1 crash in my 400+ hours. but dont think that was because of win 11.
