Blue screen crash when starting game

It wont work, crashes with a blue screen then restarts computer.
I suspect its EAC, tried repairing it, tried validating game cache, nothing works!

what do i do now?


sys: i7 8700k
16gb ddr4
gtx 3070
win 11 home

If it is caused by EAC, you should see the words "EasyAntiCheat.sys" at the bottom of the blue screen.
If EAC is not damaged, it is likely to be a compatibility problem, try closing all other unnecessary programs.

There are no other programs open besides steam, its said a few different messages at the bottom idk what but it didnt say eac.

well if the caused program changed multiple time every bsod, that is your hardware. just reslot the ram, clean some dust and hope its work. and also check the temp.

If you can repeat what it said, it will help solve the problem. Not much infor here.

Its not my hardware every other game works

Ok so error code is: SYSTEM_SERVICE_EXCEPTION

What is the possible cause? It worked fine when i played in a couple of months ago but since then i upgraded to win11 and this was the first time trying it

Also got SYSTEM_THREAD_EXCEPTION_NOT_HANDLED

i have had problems like this recently as well.

I get the same errors as you, and additional SECURITY KERNAL failures aswell.

unfortunately its not just on lost ark for me, it is even when i dont have other intensive programs running.

I think this may have to be a driver error, as far as which one... im still working on my own problems. i hope u find an answer

i just noticed you have a 3070, i have the ti version... maybe there is something to check there. maybe you can try roll back of drivers to previous version, i cant do that since my first driver version is the latest one... hope that helps find ur answer

It looks like a driver error, try installing a more stable version.

ok i fixed it, i just reinstalled windows lol and now it works. so i dont know if it was a driver issue or what.

Easy fix.
steamapps/common/Lost Ark/Binaries/Win64/EasyAntiCheat/"EasyAntiCheat_Setup.exe"
Run this program as Administrator and/or set it in properties.
After, launch the program and 1) Install or 2) Repair or 3) Uninstall & Install.
Choose between the three choices. (to be sure do it multiple times)
There you go! run the game and it will no crash.

If u get error in steam launch that says something like "steam-login-pub" then you have to go back to steamapps/common/Lost Ark/Binaries/Win64/ and
right click, properties, compatibility, change settings for all users, and check off
"run this program as an administrator" for both files.
1) Launch_Game.exe and 2) LOSTARK.exe
After, relaunch, no crash and runs again.

It is not due to your hardware it is the EAC or Easy Anti Cheat program that conflicts with existing files.
