I kept trying them out in the training room and if i couldn't have fun with it there i didn't bother
That being said, Gunlancer took work and changing skills/builds/engravings you name it to get it to a place i felt happy to play (i hated it early on)
Wardancer took work too
Deathblade i felt a bit miffed near T3 on but changed back to fun once i did the Press K, check recommended, check Argos and saw what endgame builds had in them which fixed the holes in the build i was using while leveling up (is my main so spent the most time changing things on it)
I highly recommend doing the above on all your classes just to see if you're missing something on your class for the endgame skills/tripods/runes. Might make the difference in making the class 'click' for you
1. Berserker Ilvl1340 -> Boring as hell to play due to its simplicity and braindead combat style
2. Gunslinger Ilvl1340 -> was fun at the start with all the switching but soon became a hassle, they need to add individual weapon swap keys.
which i love - glavier-sorc-zerk-gunslinger-shadowhunter
next are paladin, and new classes (i m diggin' that reaper)
in pvp - i might like Soulfist, it's kinda low dmg but high mobility.. Deathblade has +2/-2 mobility (depends on skills) but definitely has double or triple the dmg.. i just see them melting. zerk is kinda - come closer, u respawn.
i saw yesterday a Glavier, 9kills.. and once a sorc with 11.. the rest 6-7. you need a team for sinergy, matchmaking alone won't get you anywhere even if you play elite time.
Way too many "hold in place, charge" abilities and the movement ones have issues locking on to a target so unless the boss is massive you'll be battling your own controlls more than the boss itself. Boring "hit x times then dump stacks" playstyle. RE is too generic of a playstyle and Surge has the issue I just stated.
Totally not what I thought the class was about.
I highly recommend changing the weapon swap skills to numbers on your gaming mousepad like 10/11/12 for example
So you can press 10 and keep changing one weapon to the next
it WAS fun early on...now just....meh..figured i would try since i main SH but that was a mistake....7 SH and 1 gunslinger.....i might just delete it for another SH slot...tbh
2. paladin. wanted to try support, turns out i like dps a lot more instead of being a buff/debuff shield counter "bot"
