Express pass - We still have to do the main story quests??

yea but only do Yorn as it gives you acess to Tier 2 Tower, the resources you get from the pass is likely enough to reach Tier 3 without doing prior stories.

you can use the feiton power pass on another character and it also counts to knowledge transfer as well

I think you might be confused as to what express event is.

Vern Pass / Feiton Pass are features that let your character start in the region specified in the name instead of from level 1. Feiton Pass as the name suggests put you in Feiton.

Express Mission Event is just a set of tasks that give you some useful rewards for alts. It does not let you skip any content

That's what i ran into, done my Vern power pass and now at rohendal i have to continue the story. The honing process is faster up until 12+. Basically rush story and do dailies to increase your Ilvl faster. The missions just aid you with extra mats.

Yes, express mission event just gives you an additional interface in the game with some bonus missions to complete and rewards for them.
