absolutely no if you respect yourself and your time.

f2p is not locked out of anything in the game. No cap on skill points or levels or anything like that. So i'd say, sure, it's worth trying it.

it's worth it. And with the events they have and the free ark pass and welcome challenge you'll get to T3 which is mid endgame pretty fast. Literally right now you want to try it and get into the event. Using money in the game will only progress you faster. But i do also agree the game is p2w.

This. Just don't do it unless you are willing to spend a LOT of time making alts to then funnel mats to your main. Alts feeling mandatory is why I'll eventually quit this game because I just simply don't have enough time to spend on this game, nor do I want to spend all of my free time on this game.

yes 100% worth it. The game totally respects your decisions on how much you want to spend. i reached itemlevel 1400 like 2 weeks ago without spending a single buck on itemprogress and with only 1 alt at low tier 3 which doesnt help all too much for my main.

Only after that i bought a one-time offer for 11 bucks that gives you 2600 shop crystal, usually costs about 60 bucks or so, and i purchased the premium version of the ark-pass event that runs for 3 month for 15 bucks, and im going to buy that 100% everytime they offer it cause its daaaamn worth it.

All that after i played for almost 800 hours in this game and it technically wasnt even necessary. You can totally 100% zero bucks f2p this game without any gates if you want, but i never understood that kind of people.

edit: it is true that lost ark is somewhat a "maingame", if you only play a couple of hours per week you wont make a lot of progress. However the absolute majority of your materials and that is your progress DOES NOT come from playing 6 hours a day and grind like a madman, you actually CANT grind. All of your relevant loot is linked to daily and weekly resets. Multiple alts means more daily and weekly activities but it is not as bad a some people say. I only have 1 alt.

Those people just have no knowledge of the game and make bad decisions. If you know the game and can utilize the market and the crystal exchange you can get what you want. I did :)

I don't feel respected when three weeks of diligent farming on multiple characters gave me 2.5 ilvl (1400 to 1402.5) because I pitied every hone. With this pace, I won't be ready for Valtan by the time it comes out.

Even if I do get there, I have a feeling Valtan will be just as much of an overhyped joke as Argos was. This is the most antisocial mmo I have ever played and I honestly just can't recommend it to anybody.

The gameplay is fun, but that's it. Stuff like islands are so dull and a g mashing simulator just like most of the story content.

It's 101% free 2 play don't need to spending any money unless you have a gambling addiction, Which is not the game's fault but the person fault!

Are you having fun? Then yes, it's worth it.
Are you not having fun? Then no, play something else.

Yes, there's a lot to do and proression is also fine, unless you can't bear not being the very top all the time.

A lot of laughs, a zero-level profile and a private one.

I will never understand what people have with steam accounts. Is his opinion now suddenly worthless because he doesnt want to show his profile openly?

I had several encounters with people like you, invalidating my opinions because they couldnt see my profile and then they have the audacity to play dumb when i eventually show them.

Can you explain why profiles are so important for you? I dont expect a proper answer, but most likely an insult, but just humor me.
