As for alts being encouraged in this game, they are only encouraged in the sense that Smilegate wants players to spend even more time repeating the same stuff with them. They aren't encouraged in the sense Smilegate wants people to make alts to just genuinely enjoy playing them because if that were the case, you wouldn't see stuff like having to mail yourself items to use on them and be charged pheons to do so, nor would you see character bound honing mats as they would be account bound. If they truly wanted people to use alts for sheer enjoyment, everything that isn't character specific (like gear) would be account bound.
They should just make them rosterbound, easiest solution.
