Multiple characters stuck crashing in the main questline?!

This is bad, AGS. Really bad.

Before the update I'd already had 2 characters stuck in the Feiton questline because there's a specific point in Wailing Swamp that crashes my game, without fail (30+ attempts). You know I was patient, figured those characters could wait, they'd probably fix it in the update.

NOPE.

Those characters are still stuck. And nowwwwwwwwwwwwwwww, while progressing my Main Character through South Vern, HE'S now stuck repeatedly crashing the game while I try to load into the Throne of Chaos. And I literally cannot do anything with him, because he's trying to load into that dungeon, which crashes my game each time without fail.

It's nonsense like this that makes a dedicated player like me who has put probably way too much time into this game, start to suddenly bleed out hope and love for it. Half of my roster is stuck.

All in all, my main question is, am I alone here? Anyone else encountering these issues? Attempting to research and post in official Lost Ark bug forums yields no results. I've already tried verifying the integrity of my game files multiple times, as well as reinstalling the entire game once, all to no avail. This is crazy.

Tbh OP, i don't know if these forums will help you, most the time it's valve employees here closing threads. Try the game's "official" forum.

And also make a ticket in their support system, if possible attach a video of what is happening and post your character's name and server. They might figure something out

Other than that, update your drivers - GPU, chipset and stuff like that.

Yeah I'm not looking for help here so much as validation that I might not be the only one. haha. X_X Misery loves company and whatnot.

Will keep attempting random fixes from my end, however it's tough to believe it's a system issue on my end after what I've already tried considering how specific and consistent the crashes are. And hopefully my tickets get answered. Buuuut whatevs. Thanks for the response, Turtle.

Wow snarky much. I only provided a standard fix that has worked for "some" people. Excuse meeeeeee for missing a single line near the bottom of the post that is quite long and I summarized over it.


As for the OP, the poster above does give a good bit of options however. Support and official forums Is where I'd go instead of the steam forums as generally dev's and support team are not over here. Someone I think mentioned they switched the DX version helped too.

Haha it's all good. No worries for missing my last few sentences. :P Yeah I've got a post up on the official forums too. Unfortunately it's a crapshoot as to whether it ever actually gets reviewed. I'll keep my fingers crossed though.

Hopefully I am the only one experiencing this, because it's not fairrrr. X_X

It seems like its been hit and miss with people. When I was on yesterday I didn't crash at all (granted the things apparently that were crashing people the most was the Abyss dungeons and guardian raids which I did not do yesterday). My friend however did crash a few times, once while we were doing South Vern and once during joining an Abyss dungeon.

Wrong place buddy, go to the official forum and try their, nobody will ever look into steam forums since they are cesspool at best.
