EXPRESS EVENT DETAILS (PSA)

[Dragonmaster]

The Express Event is an EVENT to SPEED up the progress of one character from 302 to 1100 (T1 -> T3). It is BEST used on a FRESH 302 Character for MAXIMUM Rewards. This is for ONLY 1 Character and CANNOT be changed. DO NOT ACCEPT ON A MAIN T3 CHARACTER.

It gives:
A large number of HONING Materials for both T1 and T2 (Bound)
Engravings (Green, Blue and Purple)
Other Roster Bound Items

It ALSO gives MASSIVE HONING BUFFS
Lowers honing COSTS by 40% (Stacks with Strongholds 20% for 60% reduction)
Increases honing CHANCE by 20% (Up to +15 & Stacks with Stronghold's 20% for 40% Chance increase)
Gives +2 HONING to Gear up to +12 (I.E honing a +4 would hone to +6 on 1 upgrade)

Essentially it pretty much makes honing 100% (+13->14 is 90% and +14-> 15 is 80%) for a single new character and you get double hones.

It does NOT complete any quests or continents.

The bonus chest from completing it all gives heaps of roster stuff + some t3 materials (but not enough to waste it on a t3 character to begin with considering 99% of it is to help t1+t2 char to make it into t3 with honing buffs and all sorts of stuff)

Thing I'm trying to decide is if I just use the express on the glavier instead and use the feiton pass on say the destoryer later (since the pass it good for a couple of months). I technically dont need another immediately T2 character and getting another T1 character would let me use the winter tokens on her up instead of wasting the T1 mats.

Still got 5 hours to decide on that though when i get off work.

Nope, they should have updated the UI to better express exactly what it was. Not everyone goes to every website to check information before opening the game. It is considered horrible game design to hide information to a new event that can only be selected on one character. There should be a revert button.

yeah i know what u mean most people in my guild claimed the event thing on their mains because they didnt know what the event was for so now they are gonna have a slower progress with the new class

Gratned, If you would of used express on the glavier, then you wouldn't want to use the feiton pass on her. Using both on the same character is a bit of a waste.

why didnt they just make it roaster bound for mats not bloody character bound. you only be able to use them to your alts anyway. such a dumb idea

They should have made it a bit clearer on the screen. Glad I didn't take it on my main but I have no idea who to do it on.

Yes you, I and many others would go look for that info, but not everyone is YOU or I. I think that's the point, everyone posting patch notes is missing.

If that was the case, there wouldn't be a 24/7 blue banner where maint msgs are sent ingame saying 'hey, dont use it on a T3 char, use an alt'

It was more of a note of what other benefits that are given to an express pass character that arn't easily as seen now.
