Help me pick a new alt

Between Wardancer and Soulfist. Which one is better ? Or even more fun to play if the difference is not that big...

[I am making $90 an hour]

i play soulfist and the dps on her sucks so far, i hear she gets really strong late game but yeah
unless you really wanna be goku from dbz then wardancer is probably a more fun time

if you like high apm classes go soulfist with energy overflow..you don't see super high numbers early on but you compensate with constant dps, it's a fun class overall but hard to master.At least now,she will get buffed.

I can firmly say do not play Soulfist right now, MAYBE after the balance changes happen it will be worth it but right now it is ass. You have to stack so many different buffs just to be at the power level of other classes for a few seconds then you have more than a minute of being almost as bad as support dps.

Soul fist Energy Overflow Build = High Mobility, High Speed,, Low Cooldowns, the build is akin to a fighting game where you press skill every second because cooldowns are very low, you move around the boss like a gunslinger due to 4 dashes, your attack power is not high but its consistent and you get MVP majority of the time once you master self buff and rotation.

Soul fist Robust Spirit : a advance playstyle of Soul fist and the reason majority of people that play her dont like her, they firs tthing they do is go to maxroll and see things like Energy overflow is bad and then they use this without understanding how it works, to play this requires you be a master at the mechanics of the boss and be patient, its a slow play style with heavy heavy cons if you miss your ultimate, i hate this build with passion, the slow movement and playstyle is not for me.

Wardancer Esoteric = its a fun class but it scales really bad, and requires at least 1370 to have a good rotation with her, early on you will be clicking basic attack for majority of the battles due to cooldown, she is very easy to play as you only have 2 main DPS skills while ht others are for meter gain and buff, she has high Speed due to swiftness and buffs with pretty high attack power as well.

Wardancer First Intentions: its a APM build similar to Soul Fist energy overflow, just not as mobile, so either of these can be good if you like this sort of fast playstyle, however choosing Wardancer and starting with this build allows you to swtich in Tier 3 to Esoteric if you so wish to while Soul fist Robust SPirit at Tier 3 is a completely different play style


if you want to experience high APM build but have a choice to switch to high Burst dmg later on without completely changing the play style i suggest choosing Wardancer, not only that Choosing Wardancer is also the safer option IMO.

honestly you are better off waiting for new class to get the 960 pass and try out Glavier.

I would recommended wardaner, easier to play. I don't recommended soulfist at all, you will regret it.

Go with wardancer and you will be more happy even with end-game, the class got a good changes from PTR and new build/research are being done, you are in a good hand when something happen compared to soulfist. Don't play soulfist, it is an expensive class that needs a lot of investment, not an alt friendly class.

If you want an alt that is cheap and strong then Shadow Hunter.

^ this, lance master is also a very good option, I would say choose from scrapper, lance master, and wardancer. Don't pick soulfist, the class still need to go thru a lot of changes before it can be widely reccommended. Atm, soulfist can only reccommended to experience Lost Ark players.

Soul fist is pretty “soul crushing” in the early item lvl and takes a lot of skill if you want too play the robust spirit build and even if you plan perfect the mob can just use a back jump or other dumb invulnerable stuff and you miss your world decimation and lose 99% of your dmg.

Wardancer is fun once you work out the skills/tripod choices to make it that way

Until then you might be wondering wtf is going on

I highly suggest ALL classes be run with Soul Absorption especially when leveling up (You can make the argument for pre-emptive strike too on the way up) as being able to move faster saves days in your experience and helps you dodge all the new boss stuff you are learning + its way more fun to have high attack speed with your abilities and not miss all the skill shots due to movement of bosses


P.S. If you're ever not sure what skills you should go (say you try your own and think its not working out, you can click K then click 'recommended' and change the options of the new window at the top to 8 man abyss raid argos and see by % what other wardancers are using for their skills + tripods + runes for current endgame content. It really helps to understand your class more when you see that 99% of endgame players are using x and y and takes some of the guess work out. That being said, play whatever you feel is fun as if you're not having fun you won't continue to play the class, so you don't have to copy the builds 100%)

Also don't forget to visit Beatrice in Trixion on all alts to get your 2nd awakening skill given to them. War dancer is the big AOE where she bounces around smacking everything within it before the explosion, love it!

For DPS its bad, for fun they say its ok

Look up korean streamers on what is (Saintone / ATK / Zealsambitions / Benji etc)
