Can Astray be the ONE ship for the whole game?

Will it do well in co op sailing for dead waters too? I mean it won't be as good as the eiburn but will it be good enough? Then I can concentrate on one ship even though it cost like crazy.

So the difference in Speed is very small. However the extremely fast Regeneration of the Eurus makes it faster then the Astray on longer distances.


The biggest difference makes the Crew but i dont know how much Speed is on those for the ships.

With the right sailors Astray will be the fastest and only boat you need but the starter ship is a good budget option to.

To be honest the Eurus is absolutely garbage. The 3 second fast sail is WAY too short and the resistances are literally worthless.
Maybe it gets better if you're a proper mokoko hunter but between the disappointing fastsail, the useless resistance, and the lack of customization I consider it the most disappointing ship in the game.

not terribly important what ship you choose. i got level 11 estoque and very random crew, i find myself doing everything just fine. sure could do better but i'm not a huge seaman.
its just mostly afk content anyways. choose a destination, alt tab and watch a video lol.

The Eurus is actually quite great especially with the Hermida's Song skin. With such a fast regenerative speed for Fast Sailing you can get the burst very often and combine that with the 30% chance refund chance from Hermida's Song and that thing can haul ass. Its resistances suck, sure, even with the good crew the resistances are extremely lackluster but because of its insane speed you're rarely going to get inflicted with full hazard bars unless you're camping out in Deadwaters but at that point you may as well sit outside the zone waiting for the event to start.

The only stat on ships that really matters is speed. There isn't any content that any of the available ships can't handle at full durability with a few levels into it. Plenty of places around to repair when needed.

It's not just sailing but co op as well. I dunno but I heard a resist of 65 deadwaters is a must but that's just hearing around, I don't really know.

I def would prefer as fast a ship as possible and still do those co ops.

so.....what's the fastest ship possible but still able to do sailing CO OPs? If there's one ship, I'll just use that. Don't got the time or gold to farm and make multiple ships.
