Lost Ark vs Guild Wars 2??

Hi everyone. I have been an avid Guild Wars 2 player, (9 years so far). I tried to move to FF14, but kept coming back to GW2. I hear a lot of positive feedback from this game, ever since it was released in 2019. Im pretty much accostumed to GW2 Combat mechanics, PvE play style, groups, squards, etc.. I´ve seen a lot of videos of Lost Ark in YouTube, but there´s no good explanation about combat mechanics, and PvE end content. Most people say it´s a MMO Diablo clone. Just wanted to ask for some insight from veteran players here in this great forum. Thank you.

there's no raid or dungeon in diablo.

there's no good pvp in diablo.

there's no auction house in diablo.

there's no many class to play in diablo.

there's no ark in diablo.

Here's some videos. I would suggest just googling a lot of your questions since you aren't alone in that regard. There's a lot of information in videos, write ups, and guides since the game has been out for several years, though there may be minor differences between publishers.

The "How difficult is raiding in Lost Ark" are kinda way too dank, but it's a great insight on how complex are some of the latest T3 fights.

Agreed it's the tippy top end of raiding available and we will get it at some point, but it's mostly to show it is nothing like a diablo clone.

Yeah, Saint is usually a really chill dude, but in those videos he pops off on the comentary. It's kinda hard to follow as a non-native speaker tbh.

Yeah he gets that criticism a lot and it is valid. I think it's mostly because he isn't used to making youtube content and just streams as a hobby/part-time thing so he isn't great at the video guide part. Definitely would slow the play speed down if he's blasting through stuff too quickly to follow.

I really like the Sorc guide. Even though it's still fast as f, shows how he has improved with narration for the YT content.

But yeah, quite the contrast with his streams, I try to watch all of them and it's a really comfy experience.

100% I recommend him to all my friends as a chill watch and really helpful when it comes to answering questions. He never seems to get annoyed even when he's answered the same question 100xs in a single stream, and does his best to answer most questions in his chat. Very chill guy and very knowledgeable about the game.

Been playing GW2 since beta and headstart, and also been playing Lost Ark RU server for a month of so. IMO this game is nothing like GW2, I mean, really, nothing.
I would say it is similar to Tree of Savior but no WASD. The dungeons and bosses mechanics are greatand fun tho.
