Story Line Progression for Continents - [In Order]

I'd like to make a quick comment on the story line for Lost Ark. I've read on numerous websites that people are experiencing roster quest completions for Shushire after using the VERN POWERPASS, without ever stepping foot on the continent. I have yet to use a powerpass, as I DO NOT, want to miss any quest or story content. BIG story gamer here ^_^, anyways; I've noticed a lot of people like to power through the story to get to end game, which is all fine and dandy, if that is your cup of tea (or coffee, whatever floats your boat) BUT for people like me, who like to go turtle slow and: follow the story, enjoy the adventure, look for collectibles, etc. I recommend following this order for questing:

Continents
-Rethramis
-Yudia
-West Luterra
-East Luterra
-Tortoyk
-Annika
-Arthetine
-SHUSHIRE**
-North Vern

Please note that Shushire is before North Vern. After completing the Arthetine story line, I was sent over to Shushire, not North Vern. (This may have been due to me completing all the side stories, and/or the hidden stories; I am unsure as I do not leave a continent until I have 70% or more of my adventure's tome completed.) This is where people were getting upset over the powerpass. You need to complete Shushire before using the powerpass IF you don't want to lose any rewards. After completing the different continents, I also recommend doing a double check on your earlier continents as new quest will pop up occasionally.

EDIT: After finishing Arthetine, there was an NPC that told me I should go to Shushire after receiving Strumburge. My quest WAS to go to North Vern, but I instead listened to the NPC and made my way to Shushire. Shushire can be accessed before North Vern and DOES NOT have any consequences for doing so. I highly recommend following the order posted above.

Simple, dont use your powerpass until you get the free 302 gear drop from shushire which completes the continent if you wish to do the roster quests there as well. Using the powerpass does not make you MISS any IMPORTANT items as you will be awarded those anyway.

shushire was like endgame content zone together with vern t1 progressions so I guess they are kinda linked together as a expansion.

After you finished T1 Vern/shushire you are done with those you are send to rohendel for part 2 of Tier 1. I only remember getting a roster quest to shushire after vern tho so kinda weird

The story and quests are the same every single time. If you did it once, you've seen it all. You wont "miss" anything using the powerpass or knowledge transfer, you can go back and do the sidequests even.

Dont use the powerpass on a character that you've already leveled through the content, the powerpass is a content skip that takes you to i-level 302 with all the story content up to that point completed. Its meant to let you easily create alts without being forced to grind the content that you've already completed.

If you want to grind that content, thats cool too, but save your powerpass for new classes, once all your adventure books are done and you have all the engravings and you've done the same 20 hour run on 17 alts already.

I dont understand what these people are doing. How do you get a powerpass before finishing vern? You should get one as soon as you finish vern, and you should get a second once you use the first. Unless amazon gave out a third one and I missed it?

But sure, dont use a powerpass if you havent even finished the content the powerpass levels you past, if you manage to get one before then I guess.

I completed shush but the blue quest line went missing and I wasn't sent to rohendel. is this a bug or something missing?

to get to rohendel you have to upgrade your gear to 460 first

Just a note, as another story watcher:

DO NOT go Arthetine>Shushire>Vern. All continent stories are disconnected and may be enjoyed with zero loss of context. By jumping to Vern the moment you hit Lv. 50 and completing its story for the first time, you gain:

• Ilvl 250
  
• Una's Tasks
  
  • Dailies/Weeklies
    
  • Guild weeklies
• Chaos Dungeon
  
• Guardian Raids
  
• Cube
  
• Tower
  
• Awakening 1

You lose:

• Nothing

The big takeaway here is Una's, which allows you to begin some of the longer daily grinds earlier than normal. After Vern, you can hop back to wherever you left off with no story loss.

Caveat: DO NOT use the Vern powerpass until you have completed Anikka, Arthetine, Vern, and Shushire to ensure you don't get locked out of anything.

All said, however... OP, how did you get to Shushire pre-Vern? The unlock requires Sturmbrecker, which is received at the end of the Vern questline.

Be overwhelmed with 300 systems and 200 currencies and how they interconnect (seriously, the 'westernisation' couldn't just merge half of this stuff together and streamline it??)
Go through Rohendel before considering alts to level 50 themselves
Use Power Passes at that point, lose nothing, gain everything
Still learning rest of the stuff, but now with all level 50 chars due to knowledge transfer in stronghold too when tier 2 on one char ++

You have to finish North Vern to get the Sturmbrecher to even enter Shushire?

I think you may have confused something.

Unless there is more than 1 way to obtain the ship going to Shu before N.Vern would be impossible.

All said, however... OP, how did you get to Shushire pre-Vern? The unlock requires Sturmbrecker, which is received at the end of the Vern questline.

As I stated previously, I did all of my quest. That includes the purple Guide Quest that we get. I got Strumbrecker in Arthetine and was send to Shushire. I was already level 50 before I finished the Arthetine Story line. The story line was not disconnected, but again, I also did not power through the story. I took my time and sailed around to islands inbetween continents. I do not know how people are getting Shushire after North Vern, I got the World Quest to go there right after Arthetine.

Also, please keep in mind the reason for this post; to help those that are using the powerpass after North Vern before doing Shushire. It causes the story line to complete and that is an issue some people are experiencing, hence, the recommendation to follow the order listed in my original post.
