taijutsu is the spammy build meaning you would be spamming skills non stop similar to Soul Fist Overflow build.

if you like fighting games like Street fighter or DBfighterz is a good choice.

Couldn't stand shock, too slow for the damage it does.

Still leveling my scrapper so i don't know about endgame but taijutsu didn't feel that good while leveling as your cooldowns are still rather high and the first stages of that engravement already give the max malus of 30% less shock damage for a 30% increase in stamina skills while most high damage skills being shock damage. might become better once you hit the T3 Engravement for 60% more taijutsu damage and have more swiftness.

Scrapper is unfortunately very mediocre. Shock is okay - you will eventually see decent numbers , but its a burst playstyle that relies on back attacks and high crit & specialization - Taijutsu on the other hand always puts damage out so they will often outdps the shock scrapper just by the fact that they dont need to play as well to get their damage in.

However both specs pale in comparison to other , "true" dps classes. Scrapper is a lot beefier than them , sure , but that doesnt really help you much as the point as a dps is to not get hit by stuff while pumping as much dps as possible.

They also suffer quite a bit in pvp - not being able to bring engraving into the arena means youre stuck with base scrapper , and with the hiboxes of the skills being so tiny , you will definately struggle against pretty much everyone.

They are fun to play - and the game thankfuly is "beatable" even with sub optiomal setups , so you will not have too many issues PVE wise.
