most guilds are pretty much afk just to donate so why penalise players who want an active community
should be 1 day at max to avoid any GvG shenanigans
No other game makes you wait a month to join a guild because you cant see how active/last online people are until you JOIN it
Just make it 1 guild a day or 1 day cooldown on rejoining a guild and there's no issue with level ups ( or 1 donation to a guild per roster per day)
Devs thought about this exploit and have it covered maybe theres another way round it? I cant think of anything.
I've come from an MMO that had this problem of allowing hopping and what happened was the community would take note or flag guild hoppers and wouldnt accept their invite requests.
this would be passed around to other guild leaders making getting into a guild nigh impossible. Thats not the best resolve to it.
Edit: I realise alot of people are going to say this
>if xxx character has clicked donation from X reset date to Y reset date
>then character cannot click again.
just like it is right now when you're in a guild lol.
if they clicked donation that week, make it so they cant again that week, i really dont think this is a huge fix lol. better then not being able to leave or join guilds.
Really?
Just make it you can only claim bloodstones once per day.
Good suggestion/ i dunno how they built the guild stuff in the code etc...... Sometimes myself and maybe the people who built it that way overlooked this. Sometimes things are done the hard way and not the easy way.
Depends how they set it up. I'm no dev. And i dont have access to their game code. Maybe its got too many strings attatched? No clue
Considering it took Devs from smilegate to physically fly out to Seattle to help Amazon code a daylight savings change manually after 2 failed attempts, you would fit in just fine with 0 dev exp
I would think that modyfying guild systems that tend to have more going on under the hood to be more problematic. Even if its a small and somewhat seemless change. Just how i looked at it.
Players being lazy and/or irresponsible in their choices of which guilds to join is on them, not the game. Steam has a sub-section where people can post guild ads, so there's even less of a reason to blame the game for bad decisions. It's not AGS, Smilegate, or Steam's job to vet guilds for players.
