Tips on play blue gunlancer?
So I got my alt to t2 now, 1000gs and I really struggling to like this char but I feel its abit too late to go back. One thing I really don't understand is when I play on my main and I have gunlancer in my party i always get full shield buff from them but when I play gunlancer and look at my party shield they only get very tiny one and it seem to dissappear very quick too...not sure what I'm doing g wrong here

the shield you give scale with your max hp, it has a cd of 40 sec and gives shield for 6, so even with cdr you won't have your team shielded all the time, it's normal.
There is no tip for liking the class, it's slow and clunky but it's very comfortable to play, you either like it or you don't.

So you only get full shield to me or other players if me or them at max HP ?

No, it means when you got huge shields from Gunlancers you probably played with a player from higher Tier, which had a lot more HP than you -> gave huge shields to others.
The shield strength is equal to 24% of Gunlancers max HP.

you get shield to yourself with your Z button, and you recharge it with your shout of hatred (while your Z is toggled off orelse it won't recharge)
and you give the party a shield with nellasia's energy, that scale with your max hp (24% at tripod lvl1), if I understand your question correctly. there is no other way to shield your party for gunlancer that I know of.

What are you exactly struggling with when playing gunlancer?

I used to hate the class in T1 because i was unaware of the importance of Specialization stat and some engravings/runes. Once i equipped some specialization jewelry everything changed for me and I'm now in T3 and love the class.

Also it is extremely cheap to stuff because you only need the Barricade engraving receipt witch is way cheaper that your other traditionnal class engravings.

if you want the Gunlancer to feel decent then play Lone Knight which has Swiftness as one of their stat, played it with 50% swiftness and 50% crit and it feels pretty good no longer clunky heavy boy feels similar to Berserker in Mayhem mode.

i used the raid build in maxroll until i learn my way around the class. About the shield, its up to your tripod settings and your max health points as mentioned above, also you can strecth its time by 4 second by chosing mid-right tripod.

Like damage juts not there, back flip is ughhh, and very slow i gemeral hard to dodge. But I have been maining mayhem zerker so that prob won't help haha

In t2 I now have lvl 3 barricade and lvl 3 spirit for more speed, so feels much nicer than in t1, actually playable now, also yes got maxed out spec and one crit from amulet

Not sure how to approach engravings when I hit t3

Should I get 5 nodes for combat radines off accessories or from equipped engraving?

He seems like very cheap.to gear which is nice

I read that it requires proper positioning and good knowledge of boss mechs?

Your shield is way worse with Lone Knight, you have less defensive skills. And as a Gunlancer you don't have a dash, just awkward step back. So yes, it is harder because he can tank less damage while still being kinda slow. But dunno how much harder it is, I didn't try Lone Knight.

playing harder classes sometimes is fun you get to learn more from your encounters withe nemies, i main Sharpshooter but wanted to feel more danger and went ahead with a Soul fist which is one of the weakest classes in Tier 1-2 and early tier 3, i enjoy playing her due to her Fast pace -> Overflow + Swiftness makes the class feel like im playing street fighter together with her 3 Dashes is just quite awesome to play even with that crap dmg.

i did try Gunlancer but mines is still at early Tier 2, i play Lone knight because it offers more speed, i cant take any class than is less than 120% movement/attack speed it honestly feels like crap.

if you want more movement for your Gunlancer try Spirit Absorbtion it does wonders.

From my understanding for T3 gunlancer engravings you have to use the combat readiness engraving (+6nodes) and use barricade engravings (optimaly +12 nodes). Those 2 should be your 2 main equipped engraving from the inventory slots. Then your Ability stone should be consisted of barricade nodes + anything you want (usualy grudge/cursed doll i think) . Thats it.

Barricade+12
Combat readiness +6 (you dont need more)
Ability stone with at least Barricade node on it.

You're good to go :lunar2019coolpig:

Yeah my friend also went hard mode main soul, apparently they really pop off end game :)

Personally I don't like challenge and prefer more brain dead characters haha

Yeah what I was wandering if its worth getting that lvl 1 radiness from accessories and equip another engraving for more points
