Nah it shouldn't , premades have no place in ranked pvp.

Yeah unfortunately pre-mades make it too hard to balance, if you have a team of three randoms vs a duo and one random well the second team will always win hands down. Easier if its 3 randoms vs 3 randoms both have the same chance

PVP is all about timing and communication so i am not sure what you are talking about. Maybe you never pvped on a non casual level before?

i can tell that most people playing lost ark is not competitive or even serious about what they are doing. I come from a long list of tryhard games so me and a few friends who pushed high ranks in other games wanted to try out 3v3 arena in Lost Ark.

we feel a bit fooled now putting 200 hours in a game with no skill involved in any way. Boss mechanics are learned from 5min videos and then what? Gearing up is just a casino. There is no other content in Lost Ark that is appealing to "tryhard" gamers like myself. I want to adapt, overcome, get better and grow. These are fundamental things for any game but i guess Lost Ark want to be more like a slot machine, and that it fine. Just wish i knew this earlier.

So even in the only skillbased element in this game they added a huge lottery.

So maybe i can be high rank and get 2 beginners in my team against 3 high ranks? Seems fair and fun. And before the match starts i have to get them into discord so we can communicate and time our pressure / defense. I thought Koreans enjoyed PVP, how come Lost Ark spit on PVPers face?
(I know the obvious reason.. PVP have no casino element so they wont make money from those customers)

but still... it doesn't feel like smilegate likes PVPers very much.

Just lend your account to a seller and he can boost your character anyway. That's not an excuse to make this poor PVP.

Yes but you can not play ranked with friends so PVP is dead.

After a few days most people will be highest rank and then just play 1 weekly match or whatever.

it would be dead if solo players would have to face trios.

i think it could be solved by having a party rank in its own bracket.
let the trios sweat against each other.

it just happens in so many games already.
obviously the organized team has higher odds against pugs. its just a stomp.
