Guild Master Rank Changed?
New to game - and somehow, came back after a weeked trip - and am no longer the Guild Master of the guild I created at Launch? So confused...? How does that even happen?

Some guy mentioned recently that the guild leader changed after 10 days of absence. If you were really only gone for a weekend, that sounds a lot worse.

Write to support, dunno if they interfere in such things but it is worth a try.

As far as I know this would only be possible if you had given permission for someone to be your "successor" in case of absence. Besides this position you can also choose two officers.

I read that if you've set someone as guild deputy and haven't logged in for 3 days, the guild deputy will become the new master and you'll take the deputy rank. This is pretty scary since afaik the game tells you nothing about this.

Sadly, I don't know who the person that got Guild Leadership - so unsure how they were even Deputy (or if even it was a Deputy)

I did not get Deputy Rank, as it was not given to anyone (which I would have had to do since I was the guild creator/guild leader)

Nothing in game during guild creation even warns that guild ownership can change unless it is too late to happens

This happened to me just now, lost my guild with a really nice name which I was planning to keep for myself and just my friend, and somehow strangers now control the guild and even my alts got kicked.

I am quitting the game because the same thing just happened to me. I created my own guild. been managing it for 5 months now. I went on vacation for 10 days got back and my guild is gone. I worked hard to keep my guild and now I am just a guildmate. This is biased. There are many games to have fun with. Good luck to the lost ark with their madness.

can't imagine how the other members must of felt how their leader just went poof for over a week and left everything mismanaged. this is why you get a vice-leader, to work things out while you're gone, they are also the first one in line to claim the guild if leader is inactive for too long. they could of just given it back to you, had you been entrusting it to someone.

note to self: do not invite randoms if you wish to keep the guild to yourself.
if you get more people, its no longer your guild, its everyone's guild cos levelling the guild is a team effort. you holding the deed doesn't make it yours.

if you want your own guild, do not invite anyone.

you can just make your alt a deputy, so when it change leader, it goes to your alt.
