Character name contains an invalid character

Hey, can't create any character names for my character, which means i can't even try out the game...

What are the so called "special characters" for this game? I simply put a word and a number and it considers numbers as invalid characters, wtf is this?

Do i have to make a bot name like sadoiuwadmnia to bypass the character creation screen or something? This is stupid.

Special characters basically everything that isn't a letter.
I've seen a few people with names that have accent letters like ö ÿ etc etc. Might be able to get a name you wanted if you use some of those

Seriously? Why would they restrict numbers. That's literally how most of other games use to bypass issues with single name usernames that are taken instantly.

So basically i have to either do it like you said or make a bot name with a bunch of random characters and hope nobody took it. This alone turned me off from playing the game, i was enjoying the previews on classes and character customization, but F that character name limitation.

I can't pick zeus because someone took it, i can't pick zeus6969 because numbers are banned, what the hell am i suppose to do? ZéeÈeuÚùs? Give me a break.

Sure, sounds like a me problem when the game literally limits character naming to letters when literally most of other games aren't doing this (this is the first game i see with such limitations). Useful comment, go back to your cave.

Good names were gone in the first 30 minutes of the founder pack owner launch, also you can't use gaps, which would help substantially.

That's what i was trying to figure out, if i can't use zeus or zeus and a number, simply means i can only use letters. Which to me is dumb. But like the first reply stated here, using letters with accents might work, so i guess i have to do something like ZéeÈeuÚùs because whoever made the character name restrictions thought it was a great idea to block numbers.

try doubling a letter up like zzeus or zzzeus, etc. be creative.

Hahaha really? That'd explain a lot.
I rushed on when it publicly released and made a few characters to lock in some names because EVERY name I wanted was taken.

And @OP tbf Zeus is a pretty common name man. I would be surprised if you could get it in any MMO unless it was very niche or you are among the first people playing it. That'd be like complaining that you can't use "Thunder" or "Lightning" or "Goku" as a name

I'm not complaining about not getting zeus, i am complaining about not being able to use numbers. Two different things.

I always used zeus/anima/poseidon and a set of numbers to create character names, this is the first time i come across a game that doesn't allow me to use numbers.
